  1. Not worth watching, very boring . The Supra had the slowest 0-60 time.
  2. The 3 stock leads that run from the coil packs to the plugs are: 90919 - 15317 90919 - 15456 90919 - 15457 You'll also need 3 coil pack clips, these go on the "2 core cables" that feed the coil packs. These coil pack clips have been known to cause a few problems as the connections deteriorate with age. 3 x 90980-11246 I'm not sure if the "2 core cables" mentioned above are part of a main wiring harness as I cannot find them in the parts catalogue.
  3. Probably a young keen Policeman just starting the job and lacking a little common sense.
  4. M12 x 1.50 Look for tuner wheel nuts, they're narrow and are supplied with their own tool instead of using a normal socket which goes over the nut. Loads of them on Ebay. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p4712.m38.l1313&_nkw=tuner+wheel+nuts&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  5. Ferrari launch their car tomorrow Thursday 9.30am. Apparently you can watch it live via their website.
  6. Hello This is from the workshop manual for the US spec car, it's very useful. http://www.turbosupras.com/pdfs/JZA80%20TSRM/EM%20(2JZ-GTE).pdf#page=53 Obtained from: http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/pages/technical/jza80/a80tsrm.htm
  7. The race before every street circuit especially Monaco you would have 16 cars( all of the cars out of the points) doing their best to finish last .

  9. You can do fault diagnosis on the VVTI TT Supra. Bridge Tc and E1 with a piece of wire, located in diagnostic port in engine bay. The standard non vvti engine uses E1 and TE1 . I simulated faults by unplugging sensors a couple of years ago and it does work. I'm not familiar with the flybywire unit, could the throttle flap move without the mechanism moving on the outside of the throttle housing moving? I thought I better mention that before saying when I switch the ignition on there isn't any movement on the external throttle flap mechanism.
  10. McLaren has confirmed that it will continue to be sponsored by Santander for the 2010 season, after agreeing an extension with the Spanish bank. http://www.forumula1.net/2009/f1/f1-news/santander-renew-mclaren-sponsorship/
  11. "testingtesting" Stange 1st post, who's doing the test?
  12. Do a search. Do a search. They are.
  13. I wouldn't buy a new one as I can imagine it being expensive , is it Keron who breaks and sells spares? If it's this at fault you won't need to do anything with the alarm fob. Make sure you get the right one, the part number may be on the part itself. . .
  14. 1999 VVTI http://cdn.images.pistonheads.com/aimg/1435/1435852-4.jpg
  15. Converted. http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/specs.htm
  16. Hello Your English is far better than some members who've lived here since the day they were born .
  17. It's J spec , you can tell by the colour, front and rear lights, side markers and lack of headlight washers. It's possible that a UK car could be modified to have those features but it's unlikely. Kilometers/hour stock when it was in Japan, it may or may not have been converted to read miles/hour. 100k miles is okay if it's been serviced correctly.
  18. Probably directly proportional to the price.
  19. We built our own, room for 2 cars. The standard plastic corrugated roofing lasted a few years but it becomes brittle and the panels exposed to the stongest winds broke, this was almost 15 years ago. When the panels broke we replaced them with galvanised steel corrugated panels at the front of the house where it's exposed more to the wind and twinwall polycarbonate sheet for the rest. I'm sure there must be better quality longer lasting plastic roofing products available nowadays. If you don't need the light coming through the roof then I would definately just go for galvanised steel corrugated panels, long lasting and if you need access above the carport you can walk on it too.
