  1. Another device on the Mclaren.
  2. They are the same. The vvti one is different.
  3. Are you a vet? Do you just have to go if there're complications?
  4. I used to do that but not anymore. A relatively quiet section of a car park is ideal for car thieves, I learnt that lesson with my van.
  5. Why did you use 2 spaces if it was empty? I never use 2 spaces for the reason that I know other drivers value their ordinary cars just as much as a flash sports car, they would be thinking what gives them the right to use 2 spaces when the rest of us don't and preventing another car from parking. Diliberate damage could be far worse than an accidental dent.
  6. It's a temperature sensor, you don't need to fit it to the decat pipe. Just tie it up out of the way.
  7. McLaren insist there is no need for "alarm bells" after the team's MP4-25 was spotted with a rather unusual device attached at Jerez on Wednesday morning. Concerns were raised about McLaren's 2010 challenger at the first pre-season test at Valencia last week when the MP4-25 was splashed with 'fluminescent' paint. Apparently it's used for measuring aerodynamic flow structures. Any comments Tony?
  8. I thought the 2 year sentence was a little harsh until I read the following: I can't belief he filmed it aswell.

    Fuel tank protector.
  10. It's all in here. http://www.turbosupras.com/pdfs/JZA80%20TSRM/BO.pdf
  11. In the manual a special tool is used, pages 32-34. The shaft bolt going though the pressure plate shouldn't be that tight according to the manual. Using a spanner/wrench on something like this and giving it a quick hit may work. Or stick something through the pressure plate/pulley to stop it turning. http://www.turbosupras.com/pdfs/JZA80%20TSRM/AC.pdf
  12. Advan RZ , much nicer than the RS-D wheels. Can you find any more pics?
  13. Don't cut through both the wires of the cable simultaneously just incase in the unlikely event it causes a problem.
  14. I can't visualize which bit it is but can't you just use the screwdriver at a slight angle or just bend/cut a little bit of the door card out the way if it's hidden from view. It may be a torque head screw, if you haven't got a torque head bit then a flat bladed screwdriver can be used if it's not too tight.

  16. It was all gone but came back on Friday night/Saturday morning, about 4-5 inches.
  17. No they haven't, they just want to confuse everyone It's a Mercedes GP showcar, have a look at the pics on your link.
  18. You would of thought there would be an audible/visual alarm in the cab to tell the driver it was still tipped up. Thanks for posting it, I saw it on Sky the other day but couldn't find it on the net.
  19. The wiring diagram for the US spec Supra shows 8 connections to the central locking ecu, it has an alarm function too but some of the connections I'm sure would be the same. Can you identitfy the individual wire colours for the loose plug?
  20. Front wheel drive is great in the snow.
  21. They haven't launced the car yet. They've revealed their livery for the new car though, it does look nice.
  22. Search the diagnostics pdf for "misfire" , only one "s". You can use the search function to find every location in the pdf where a particular word occurs. http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/pages/technical/jza80/a80tsrm.htm
