  1. I counterbored my gear knob so the lift up reverse sleeve fits up inside partially in the forward gears and goes up fully when in reverse.

    mot time

Why do people find the need to tell everyone else, who cares.
  3. You can get a lot of the info online. The one below is for the US car, most of it is the same as the J spec. http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/pages/technical/jza80/a80tsrm.htm

    Oh nuts!

    Wax hair removal?
  5. That's a coincidence. My nephew spoke to Fabricio Coloccini for about half an hour in a local nightclub the other night, he was even introduced to his wife when she turned up. My dad played for Sunderland as a professional in the 1950's, Hull and Sheffield United. In those days they didn't even see a football during training.
  6. They won't just retract when they touch anything light like someone standing on it, but it makes sense to have it set maybe at a few hunded kilograms so it won't lift a car up into the air.
  7. Do you mean the clip that prevent the pins holding the pads in place from sliding out, if so? 90468-12020
  8. Interesting. In his Friday night blog, James Allen reported that, while 'Ferrari's system is manual and very obvious', 'There have been suggestions that Red Bull has a more sophisticated system, which allows the car to run low in qualifying trim but then raises itself up when the 160 kilos of fuel are loaded in and lowers itself again as the fuel burns off. The key to that is making it legal. 'Other teams are scratching their heads about how Red Bull might have achieved that, but one suggestion is that they may be exploiting the regulation that allows teams to re-gas pressurize the dampers between qualifying and the race. If this is the case then they would get the benefit of running the car low in qualifying and then raise it up when the fuel is added. Hence their stunning qualifying form.'
  9. Did anyone see the Martin Whitmarsh interview after qualifying? He's saying that a few cars are running very low to the ground considering they have very little fuel on board meaning that they would be scraping the ground with a full fuel load so to avoid this they are speculated to be using a system to adjust their ride height which Whitmarsh thought was impermissible. Obviously running close to the ground at all times gives the cars a significant advantage.
  10. The practice is on at 1.30am and 5.30am Friday morning. I'm going to try and record it. Anthony Davidson should be back in the commentary team, he's good to listen to.
  11. Failing to display a tax disc is an offence. We've done that in the past too and I'm sure the police would've been okay but I'm not sure nowadays with all of these automatic cameras that can read number plates and tax discs.
  12. They use the same speed sensor. Part number: 83181-24070
  13. In the papers, which state that Hopper weighs about 7st 2lb (45kg), he is described by his doctor, David Agus, as extremely weak and unable to have long conversations. Joseph Mannis said his client was therefore unable to be questioned by lawyers of his wife of 14 years as part of divorce proceedings. She has also claimed that he filed for divorce so that he could cut her out of her inheritance. Last month, a judge ruled that Mrs Hopper must stay at least 10ft (3m) away from her husband after the actor said he wanted to eliminate unnecessary stress. How ridiculous, typical of the US.
  14. I would just be careful to make sure they won't find out where you live through the forums you intend to post it on.
  15. You could fit 20" wheels, as long as the tyre diameter was the same as stock you wouldn't have any speedo errors.
  16. As far as I'm aware knowone has tested one against another in a controlled environment to see which performs best.
  17. When I see them at the British GP I always wonder if it's just a matter of time before this would happen.
  18. You've got to be mad to prefer the pre-facelift.
  19. In your autotrader advert you've got it listed as a 1998 car. So it's not as old as a normal N reg vehicle that you described it as.
  20. If you haven't got replacement hoses available then use a hairdryer / heat gun on them which will soften them up so they can be removed and fitted back again.
  21. You get so attached to them , 25 is very old for a cat.
  22. 53395 - 14010.... seal, hood to front end panel
