  1. Are their any advantages of replacing the stock bov with an external one other than making a nice sound?
  2. The trouble is after you've had it for a while sometimes it doesn't feel that quick! That's when you start buying bits!
  3. Here's a list of the Goodyear F1 sizes. You would have to know the width of the wheel to determine what width tyre you could use. Sizes
  4. I fitted my Nur Spec in May, took the cats out 2 weeks ago and its even louder! Superb in confined spaces with walls on either side!:flame Dev
  5. Yep I mentioned the plugs a few days ago Plugs A Boost gauge will only show the boost level, it cannot be used to alter it. Best to fit a boost gauge anyhow so you can monitor the boost to make sure it doesn't go too high and damage the turbo's. The consensus is that taking them upto a max of 1.2bar is okay. Fitting a restrictor ring can be used to reduce boost but if you still have one cat still in place this will be probably enough.
  6. They were featured in one of the Sunday papers yesterday, supposed to be easy to fit yourself. According to the article they are available at Edworthys.co.uk for £1069 but their isn't a listing for the supra. Lambo doors
  7. You must have seen Agndrs new doors

    Decat

Sorry, forgot to mention NGK BKR7E's need to be gapped to 0.80mm (32 thou). They came pre- gapped very close to this anyway. On the mkiv.com site they recommend these plugs for the BPU upgrade and after doing a long search I found others on this site that also use them. Got this from mkiv.com Here is a list of the most commonly used spark plugs, Stock Denso PK20R11, Comes pre-gaped at 0.043 inch (best on stock supra) Stock NGK BKR6EP-11 (2978), Comes pre-gaped at 0.043 inch (best on stock supra) NGK BKR7E (6097), Comes pre-gaped at 0.032 inch (best on BPU & APU supra) NGK BCPR7ES (3330), Comes pre-gaped at 0.032 inch (best on BPU & APU supra)

    Decat

Smarty I've got a J spec TT, it's fitted with a Nur Spec R exhaust and recently I did the full decat. When I push the car hard on full boost I was getting a misfire so I was looking into getting some new plugs. Thought about getting the Denso IK 22's at approx £65 - £70. But after doing a search on here and the mkiv.com site I find they recommend NGK BKR7E (6097) , bought a full set of these at my Partco shop £10.47 including VAT. The car is now running perfectly! The Denso plugs may last longer but I'll change the NGK ones every 6k miles and still save a load of money!
  11. Hi Gaz Have you still got the Walbro 342's in stock, does the fitting kit include the electrical connectors.
  12. Cheers Alex As Partco is a Motor Factors, do they to the public. I thought they might only sell to the trade ?
  13. I'm starting to get a bit of a misfire on full throttle, I've got a Nur Spec R and have just done a full decat. Just checked the plugs, they are Denso SK 20R11 Are these IK 20's? Not sure if I should get some IK 22's or IK 24's Are these Denso plugs worth the money or is their a cheaper alternative? Will I be able to get them from my local car accessory shop as I would like to get them fitted asap? Thanks
  14. Has anyone has bought any of these lights off Ebay, they are for sale in the States. $25.00 (£14) + del EBay Not sure how much delivery would be? Are these the same ones that Whifbitz are selling - £68 + del Whifbitz
  15. Not one fecking reply!
  16. The blue one is nice http://www.linney.org/images4/Blusupra7.jpg
  17. I did an extensive search the other day, you have already done the right thing by fitting the Walbro. The pump on the Uk car pumps more fuel than the J spec car, so only worth ugrading on the J spec. The 12v mod doesn't apppear to be that popular or necessary.
  18. I've also got a CW restrictor ring fitted to the full decat which I did a couple of weeks ago, at first it was boosting to just under 1.2 bar. Went out for a drive the other night which was a little cooler and the boost had risen to 1.3 bar. I'm sure during the cold winter weather it will go up even more. I'll definately have to fit a new restrictor ring with a smaller hole!
  19. Just wanted to know if I would notice any difference in the way it would run with the new pump. Other than getting one as a precaution or needing one for going further than BPU I searched but couldn't find any definite answers. I think I'll get one. Cheers Jake
  20. Thanks Jake: Do you think I should get one then?
  21. Of course I was happy with your reply Jake, just hoping for a few answers to the more detailed questions that I asked.
  22. Come on , you don't need to ask do a search:D Any answers for My questions please:)
