    help.....:)

From mcanny, the one who posted the photo
  2. I think the reason for some personalties not publicly donating a huge sum is they don't want to belittle other donations. Hopefully they'll be doing it in private! (making a donation)
  3. Yep, very generous. Afterall you only need so much for yourself!
  4. Ignore this, it works now!
  5. Got mine private on Autotrader. Generally I would be reluctant to get one from a trader, I would always worry that they've tried to hide things like the genuine mileage, faults etc. Saying that , even though I don't know Paul E. and other importers on here I feel I could trust them as they know a lot more about the cars and couldn't afford to lose their good reputations .
  6. Never used the translation tool before, very handy!
  7. Here's the full list http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Flist1.auctions.yahoo.co.jp%2Fjp%2F2084016664-category-leaf.html&langpair=ja%7Cen&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&prev=%2Flanguage_tools
  8. Very nice! Hope you'll be letting them in the house if it gets too cold!
  9. The link isn't working! It goes to a Japanese Yahoo page.
  10. Anyone that's short of cash and needs the publicity to revitalise their career and pointless existence I would think!
  11. Surely they won't be charging you £2240 . Even though they've had it for 4 days they cannot be working on it full time! They should have the expertise and experience to find the fault fairly quickly, they might just be waiting for some parts to come in.
  12. Definately get the TT, much better to get the newer car aswell. Whatever car you get though you'll very quickly get used to the power and you'll want more!
  13. Back a week on Tuesday Self employed though - no holiday pay Nice to be off though.
  14. Does the alarm still work? Has it got a cat 1 alarm? If a cat 1 alarm was fitted correctly and was still armed it would prevent the engine from turning over! Saying that, I've heard you can have a few problems if the power goes dead on an active alarm!
  15. Anyone know where to get the plastic door fastners from - the ones with the centre pin that you push in to fasten. Will Toyota have them in stock, Halfords or anywhere else? Thanks
  16. Isn't the answer 42. The meaning of life, the universe, and everything? The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy put this question to their super computer Deep Thought. Deep Thought was designed by hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional beings, who wanted to know the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everthing. Its creation annoyed a fair few philosophers, who felt that it was taking over their turf. After seven and a half million years of serious cogitation, Deep Thought spoke the answer. However, it was so inexplicable that Deep Thought then had to go on and design the most powerful computer ever built (with no exceptions) to work out what the question was. The new computer was the earth.
  17. I apologise to everyone for making this post , I won't respond again. But I felt I had to respond to these unfair comments. As far as my mate goes, he arrived in Thailand on Thursday 23 Dec and planned to stay for 17 days. I havn't got a clue whether he was unfortunate to be caught up in this devastation. Don't go accusing me of posting a link that I won't respond to, they made the appeal on the ITV news and the first thing I did was to make a note of the details and fully intend to make a donation. With regard to this comment. I'll donate as much as I can afford too, don't be so childish in saying you'll beat my donation!
  18. You can make a donation online http://www.dec.org.uk
  19. I could have spoken about a good mate who's gone to Thailand for 2 weeks and was telling me how he was looking forward to lying on the beach in the sun , but was I was offended by what you said. Okay, you originally said So you said this and it was your way of coping with this tradgedy, I've never heard so much crap in all my life! If you're going to make comments like this then don't bother. If you do, then keep them to yourself and don't post them on a public forum like this for everyone else to read. I'm sure I'm not the only person that was offended by what you said!
  20. How the hell can you say something like that!
  21. Cheers I've managed to trace and check out the connections in the car that the previous alarm used, everything is there that I need. Took a while to figure out where to put the main control box but I've got a good place now. I'm going to start the fitting tomorrow weather permitting.
  22. It all really depends on how much you would want to spend. I would get the cat back exhaust first, something like a Blitz Nur Spec R. This will increase the boost and make it sound so much better . You don't have to buy anything else at this stage. The second stage would be to replace either one or both catalysts with a straight through pipe. But you will need the following: A boost gauge Restrictor ring to stop the boost going too high(if you replace both catalysts). A fuel cut defender (TRL are popular) Colder plugs- NGK are much cheaper than Denso. I got the cat pipes from Chris Wilson, he'll make sure you'll get the right stuff.

    Which Broadband?

Useful for downloading large files quicker. Are you paying the £50 / month charge for the 4Mb service?
