  1. I agree, I just meant it wasn't something that you had to get. Why? We could understand.
  2. Standard boost I think is about 0.7 bar A decent exhaust should take it to 0.9 bar. Removing the second cat should take it to around 1.0 bar. You don't need fuel management, larger fuel pump or larger injectors.
  3. Really nice dash! Is that the carbon fibre sticky stuff, how did you do it- curves etc. http://img183.exs.cx/img183/5773/isotta0bd.jpg
  4. On the Jap spec car when you fit a big bore exhaust and remove the cats the boost level can get too high! A restrictor ring is basically a plate that fits between the flanges on the exhaust system, it's aperture is smaller than the exhaust bore so this will reduce the boost . In most cases it will limit it to 1.2 bar - the max pressure that most people run on stock turbo's. CW = Chris Wilson, he's a member on here and can supply and fit many parts for the Supra. 5. Come on you lot , get your photo's put on!
  6. Has anyone removed their standard aerial and replaced it with a better looking one or installed an internal setup? I know the Supra has one on the rear screen but isn't supposed to be very good. I did a search a while back and someone mentioned a Merc SLK wing mounted one. Don't like the standard one! Pictures would be nice.
  7. Someone will see this thread very shortly and answer your question!
  8. Dave , if you still want the operating instructions then pm me your email address and you can have them as an attachment.
  9. Yep, it is the same on the VVTI.
  10. Yeah, I would definately take some out. When I bought my new van a couple of years ago It had too much oil and I remember reading in the Handbook about this possibly resulting in blown gaskets.
  11. I used the T-cut on my red car, it was difficult to remove . So I applied some liquid polish stuff on top of the dried T-cut and it came up very shiny!
  12. Hi Ian Nice looking car, the wheels really go well with the colour!
  13. I did a search on Google ages ago for Neilsons or Nielsens polish and couldn't find anything at all! I've used the fine T-cut stuff before on a black car and it was okay, most of the polishes you buy now haven't got the abrasives that you need to cut back the finish.
  14. If you follow this pic from Migster, remove the screw where the door release lever is and remove the black rectangular trim. There is also a big shiny screw behind this which isn't that obvious!
  15. Check this thread out, there might be some spare ones. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=30634
  16. 100,000rpm is almost 1700 revolutions per second!

    VVti

It's of the same format you cannot put a private plate on that would make it appear newer. If the original reg was L117 TNL, you couldn't use M1 SUP. :alien: It does have to show the same age as the car.

Any pics, I've got a red VVTI 6 speed. It would be nice to see another one, they all seem to be either Quicksilver or black.
