  1. Or one of these : http://www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p=040211222 I've used it on other cars, but not on a Supra so far.
  2. If you've already removed the rear cat then just get a pipe to replace the front cat. You don't need to get a decat pipe to cover both cats. It's best to have two separate pipes anyway, so that for the MOT you can just refit the rear cat as it is easier to work on.
  3. Don't bother with a BOV, only good for making a noise. Remove the front cat, more beneficial than removing the rear one as it's more restrictive.
  4. I think you can do the work yourself but you have to get it inspected by the council. Saying that, If you're not confident then get someone else to do it.
  5. I just wanted to make sure that the wiring into the isolator switches was ok and the 6mm supply was only being used by these 2 items . Wouldn't want this bloke to have any problems with overloading.
  6. I agree, if you're just supplying the oven and microwave you'll be fine. How are you wiring them in to the circuit?
  7. Doesn't matter if it's domestic or industrial, the loads involved are unlikely to be purely resistive. Infact the microwave would have some element of inductance therefore the current draw woud be higher. Saying that, for most domestic installations you would simplify the calculations and use more than sufficient size cables anyway.
  8. Infact the current draw will be higher, to calculate the current on AC you cannot simply divide the power by the voltage. You have to consider the power factor.
  9. Has the kitchen got it's own 30A fused supply already, or are you going to take a new supply from the consumer unit. If so, is it a ring circuit or radial circuit? The power rating of the combi microwave appears to be very high!
  10. Also, after using the hose to rinse the car after washing. Throw a couple of buckets of tepid water over the car, you'll be left with less water on the car than just using the hose alone. Much less water to chamois off!

    Dash kits ?

Not mine , wished it was! It's Geezabloke's, don't know about the cost.

    Dash kits ?

I asked Geezabloke , He replied - It was stripped and sent away, sprayed with a base coat then dipped into a carbon effect film. They can do various designs, colours and finishes too - Dave http://img183.exs.cx/img183/5773/isotta0bd.jpg.
  13. I agree, the Denso's are far too expensive. The NGK's are fine.
  14. I'm trying to sort out my mates PC, he's got a Liteon LTR 12102B CD Writer. I've been looking on the net for some software so I can start burning some CD's. All I can find is Firmware , I was hoping to find a free version of Nero but I cannot find anything at all that would be suitable. Any ideas?
  15. I wouldn't bother with Halfords, Partco is a Motor Factor and they sell to everyone. Loads of branches across the country. Go to Yell.com , type in Partco where you put the name and then the location. They'll be cheap and they should have them in stock.
  16. Only trouble is , my mate uses the Email address to communicate with work. He might be reluctant to change it, I'll suggest it. Cheers
  17. I got some NGK BKR7E (6097), the car is now running perfectly(£10.43 a set from Partco). I was getting a misfire on the decat until I fitted these plugs. Partco had them in stock, do a search in the Yellow pages. This is from MKIV.COM Here is a list of the most commonly used spark plugs, Stock Denso PK20R11, Comes pre-gaped at 0.043 inch (best on stock supra) Stock NGK BKR6EP-11 (2978), Comes pre-gaped at 0.043 inch (best on stock supra) NGK BKR7E (6097), Comes pre-gaped at 0.032 inch (best on BPU & APU supra) NGK BCPR7ES (3330), Comes pre-gaped at 0.032 inch (best on BPU & APU supra)
  18. My mates PC keeps freezing, I decided to Format the hard disc to get rid of all the crap and then re-install everything. I've got everything working okay, but the Internet Service that he's using is Tiscali dial-up and he cannot find a disc. Can I download the software needed onto my PC, then put it on a CD or do I need to get an Original Tiscali Disc? If I need a disc, can I get one locally or do I have to contact Tiscali? I suppose if I had his Username, Password and the Dial Up number could I obtain the connection using Windows ME. Cheers
  19. Should be okay with just the cat back exhaust. Just get some NGK plugs anyway, mine were just under £11 from Partco.
  20. Too bad though , it must be deliberate! :upside:
  21. It wasn't working yesterday morning, I tried a bit later and it was ok. Just send an email to the other Ebay user to explain. Or get a mate to pay for you.
  22. I know, some of the spelling is diabolical. Maybe they don't realise. Makes me laugh!
