  1. This thead is going to be pretty boring if we don't have any political discussions. Nothing wrong with a friendly argument!
  2. I can't think of any reason why Labour shouldn't remain in government! Don't think the Conservatives would do any better! I'll probably not vote anyway!
  3. I spent a fair bit of time fitting new speakers , brackets all round with dynamat and a new head unit. Wished I hadn't bothered. I prefer to leave it off, wind the window down and listen to the engine and exhaust instead!

    my cat

Glad you've got the cat back! I've heard that a good way to deter cats from coming into the garden is to squirt them with a water pistol, they don't like it but it won't do them any harm!
  5. If you want one with plenty power, get something like 70AH and 600A C.C. I'm sure the specs of the Halfords one are marked on the top if you want to compare. I didn't fancy a Halfords one, I bought a Deta battery - German 74AH,680 CC One thing to bare in mind though is to get one which is the right height so the battery clamp holds it in place. Mine wasn't as deep so I had to modify the clamp.
  6. You need a smaller expansion tank, I think with some FMIC kits they are supplied.
  7. This the right thing that needs moving. It's just behind the radiator, not too far from the battery. Some FMIC's come with a kit so you can move the coolant expansion tank out of the way.
  8. I had this problem, I ftted some 3mm plastic sheet behind with a 52mm hole for the gauge. It looks good!
  9. Do you still need a copy?
  10. I was just going to say that the alloys look very nice, which they do! A heck of a lot nicer than most of these more expensive ones I've seen, why spend money on expensive wheels if they look sh*te!
  11. I hate Man U even more than I hate Arsenal. Hope you get thrashed!
  12. Use this to compare tyres, it will give you the overall tyre diameter so you can compare. http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html
  13. Are these any good?

    New Supra Owner

No need for traction control just yet, take it easy on the bends. Spend the money on a nice loud exhaust if it hasn't got one , then get it de-catted! It's great in the better weather with the window down!
  15. I didn't with the Lexus filter.
  16. LOL You don't have to put a new washer on every time if you don't want to!

  18. It's a little noisy driving around town when you're lifting off the power and coming to a stop. Doesn't sound very clever! Not sure exactly where the play is, it would be nice to get it sorted! Is this just on the manual cars or are the auto's the same?
  19. Most of the time they will be very easy to change. Wasn't easy doing the front nearside on my UK brakes though, one of the pins was very tight. A lot of hammering and levering just to get it to budge. Best to smear some copper grease on before you put them back in!

  21. Sorry Michael Get a big plate to cover everything instead!
  22. Can you get under the car alright, there's not much room? No need to remove anything from car to obtain access. Access to filter is from above, when you put the filter smear a bit of fresh oil on the rubber seal on the filter. Make sure your hands are oil free and tighten it by hand only, just twist it clockwise as tight as you can get it by hand.
