Here's a new intercooler, supplied by Chris Wilson. Here are two showing signs of corrosion and falling apart, it can be easily seen on the right of the car through the bumper. You'll know when you see a bad one!

Car looks really nice. Better getting the facelift car as the lights are much nicer and more modern looking, it's got full leather interior which is great. Well priced aswell. Worth checking out the intercooler, mine isn't too good on my 97 car, you might be able to get something knocked off the price.

I thought they would be the same as the J spec lights, you can adjust the Main beam on them!

I put a little bend in the long steel bar which is the middle bracket to lift it up a bit, never had any problems with speed bumps.

Well engineered fast car and all that, doesn't look that special at all though! Not flash enough!

There's supposed to be a smaller coaxial cable down there somewhere that goes to the aerial in the rear screen(not normally used), cannot think of any other ones that you could mistake for the normal aerial. Have you plugged everything back together again, cannot remember which one it is, but if you don't connect one of the multiplugs then your power steering won't work!

It goes underneath, cannot see where it goes. I can have a good look in the morning if you want, it'll take 5 minutes to reverse it up onto my ramps. Nothing better to do, I'm staying off on the sick!

Not a very good pic, not easy to see. The cable goes inside a rubber tube and runs along the wishbone and under the chassis. If you need better pics and no one else can get them I could get you some tomorrow as I am on holiday.

I asked for some of these NGK BCPR7ES (6097) at Partco where I've had them before , he said they didn't have any in and he gave me an equivalent - Unipart GSP2023 I'm not sure if I should use them as I cannot find much to say if they are the equivalent, any ideas?

I think it was about £580, don't think there are many other options . The Toyota one is about £1000!

Nice to see a few cars get past Alonso allowing Raikkonen to close the gap that little bit more, I expected a few cars to take each other out near the end though. Don't think you should get 8 points for finishing second! Only a week to wait for the next one!

What about buying a manual TT and getting a professional coachbuilder to chopp the roof off and convert it to an aerotop. Does the aerotop have a stiffer bodyshell, is this possible?

You'll never get them back to the original finish though, they should have been keyed before the paint was applied.
