  1. Try typing steering wheel removal in the search box, and by magic : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=27520&page=1&pp=15&highlight=steering+wheel+removal Also, these on Supraforums Its really easy. 1. Unhook your battery 2. Pop the 2 little cover of the sides of you steeringwheel 3. Unscrew the Torx screws behind the covers 4. Slide out the airbag 5. Unhook the 2 harnesses (the one for the airbag has a locking device over it, just push in the tab and it will swing up, then push the other tab and slide out the connector) 6. Use a socket and unscrew the nut in the center of the wheel (19mm I think) 7. Make a note of the position of the steeringwheel 8. Grab the wheel at 3 & 9 and wiggle it off (no steering wheel puller needed) 9. Reverse instructions to put the other wheel back on 10. Have a drink. or There are 2 good ways to get the steering wheel off IMO... 1st, steering wheel puller, my weapon of choice. 2nd, leave the nut on with a few threads, then pull the wheel off with your hands, you can hit the back of the steering wheel on opposite sides as well, it will loosen it up, I use this technique at the junkyard when I forgot my puller, lol. If you don't leave the nut on the threads you may smoke yourself in the face... I haven't ever done it, but I've seen it done or You'll need a Torx set (#25 bit I think), a flathead screwdriver, and a 19mm socket with an extension. I didn't need to use a steerinwheel puller. Have the steeringwheel perfectly straight. Unhook your battery, take the two access panels off the side of the steeringwheel and then use a the torx key and take the screws out. Carefully lift the horn/airbag off and unhook the 2 harnesses (the airbag harness has a special lock you have to unclip, it's pretty straighforward) Once you have the airbag off, just hold the wheel tightly and unscrew the nut. Make a note of the wheel position grab it @ 3 and 9 o'clock and wigle it off.
  2. I did a seach for it - nothing
  3. All of the other debris is on your side aswell. Hastle you can do without, makes it even worse when he accuses you.
  4. Burberry's London Dry Gin ? Are you pissed?
  5. Another choice Get some NGK'S NGK BKR7E (6097) about £10.30 for 6 from your local Partco motor factor
  6. Don't think there's many with 20" wheels for a good reason, not that many 19" neither. 18" ones are just right!
  7. I don't accept what some of you have said neither , doesn't matter how many times it's said but I'm not going to argue. Knowone has a definite answer to this question.
  8. I still think when you design a car it's got to be capable of performing within it's limits and still being reliable. Even though they're strict with speed limits, when you sell a car like this to someone you still have to realise that it will be driven fast and well beyond the speed limit. Toyota wouldn't have taken the risk in hoping that those who bought the Supra over there would drive slower, they cannot afford to have failures in such a big market. Someone on Supraforums mentioned that the strict noise legislations might have something to do with it. Still not convinced though!
  9. Fair enough, but why didn't the American car get one?
  10. Looks really really nice! Don't mess with the bodywork, perfect as it is. Maybe some facelift rear lights and clear front indicators.
  11. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=36118 codieskid22 might sell you his, not sure if he likes them?
  12. I cannot think of any other reason though, surely the American car would be driven just as hard. Unless there are other differences between the UK car and the American car. If they put the scoop on they may aswell do the full deal with the ducting aswell. Dunno !
  13. Don't think it's really necessary, it doesn't get contaminated like engine oil.
  14. I'm not sure it was there just for cooling, although it will help. If they didn't put it on the American car because of the lower speed limits cannot be right. You must design a car with it's top speed and performance in mind, in my opinion speed limits don't come into it at all. I'm sure if you drove the car on some long deserted roads in Arizona you wouldn't be sticking to the speed limit and the Toyota engineers would know this. It must be for mainly cosmetic reasons.
  15. They do look a little darker than the ones on my car. Why did you want to replace them on your car?
  16. Sorry. They're pretty dark but not black, more like a dark metallic graphite.
  17. All facelift lights are the same!
  18. The master cylinder uses a vaccuum hose which is connected to the intake manifold. I once had auto gear fluid going in this way on another car, a small rubber diapghram had a hole in it in the gearbox and was sucking oil into the inlet manifold causing loads of smoke to come out the exhaust. I put some clear tubing on this hose and you could actually see oil being sucked into the intake manifold.
  19. Feckin Hell! I didn't realise, must have found it on a search. 2 years late, I wonder if he's still waiting.
  20. That's what I thought, just looked - not particularly cheap to hire though. Might be just aswell to buy one.
  21. I've got one aswell, but haven't got remote central locking on the key, just with the alarm.
  22. Are you allowed to ask for paypal fees in the listing, thought they stopped this? Like you say, cover your costs with the postage. I don't think you can expect to use Paypal for free though.
  23. No, you're not allowed to do that on Ebay anymore, if you've agreed to accept paypal then you have to pay the charge if you're receiving the money.
  24. As far as I know it always costs a percentage to receive momey, paypal have to get their cut for the services used.
