  1. Mostly the same as any other car - fluids , plugs , filters, brakes etc. When you put new plugs in you've got to remove these 2 breather hoses which can be rock hard, you can get them off with a little heat to soften the rubber but it's best to replace them. toyota part number 12263-46010 & 12264-46010 (if needed) I would think the subframe bolts could get overlooked, from what I've read they need to be checked as they do loosen. http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/general_maintenance/mo14.jpg The fuel filter is under the car - front passsenger seat area if he can't find it. Can't remember how often it needs to be replaced though.
  2. That is cheap, wouldn't mind getting mine done at that price. Too far away from Bury St Edmunds though.
  3. It's obvious which ones they are from the diagram isn't it?
  4. Here they are: http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/general_maintenance/mo14.jpg
  5. Everything you need to know to do it properly has already been said!
  6. Last time I noticed it was about £620 I'll more than likely have one next year!
  7. That's what I'll do aswell when the plate comes" It's been 3 weeks since I ordered the plate, I rang them up today and she checked on the order. She said because I ordered the large plate for the back of the car they didn't have any plastic big enough and it won't be coming in until next week. So if it comes next week this will mean I've waited 4 feckin weeks for a plate. What a load of bollox, she said " didn't anyone phone you", to which I said No! Their customer service is absolutely diabolical. :thumbdown
  8. When the cars are imported the odometer reading will have to be reduced to read miles which is relatively easy with the digital display. The facelift supras have the conventional type of odometer in the speedo dial, ie wheels that rotate. Anyone know for certain how they turn back the reading to miles on these? I'm just wondering if it's always done and the mileage could be reading higher than it should.
  9. Plenty of results when you search for the words "Burberry's London Dry Gin", but I cannot find them linked together anywhere.
  10. I very much doubt if it exists!

    Help

Like Chris Wilson said the stock wheel offset is 50mm, on aftermarket wheels it could be different. On the wheels I've had it's been marked on the inside of the wheel.

    Help

If you get the 19" or 20" you'll compromise ride comfort and handling. No problems with 18" though!
  13. Yes, Nur Spec R You just have to be careful with those speed bumps.
  14. My car rides pretty low,I bent the middle bracket a little so the ground clearance isn't a problem. In the year I've had the car I've only caught it on one speedbump which I didn't see until it was too late.
  15. Average times only count, this eliminates jumping the gun! I'm rubbish.
  16. It all depends on how long you're sitting in traffic for. If you're going to be stationery for more than a couple of minutes then I would put it in neutral. This eases the stress placed on the gearbox so less wear and tear. Other auto cars that I've driven have said this in the handbook
  17. They look good! Here's some useful sparkplug pics: http://www.dansmc.com/Spark_Plugs/Spark_Plugs_catalog.html
  18. I would think the opposite may be true. It's there for cosmetic reasons and extra cooling is the added benefit. It would be stupid to put the scoop on and then not add the ducting aswell. Nice to get the extra cooling if it's necessary or not! Who knows or cares though ?
  19. I never think of it in that way. It's a superb looking comfortable and loud very quick car. Doesn't have a gender, never will. It's a driving machine!

    Supra mats

These are popular, you'll have no trouble selling them!
  21. Why don't you just fix it up properly. I wouldn't want dirty salty water being splashed up on the engine. Use some cable ties if the fixing points are no good and you can't be bothered to fix them.

    Pads

Not sure if there's many diagrams, most are of the UK brakes. I would be surprised if you need to do any more than clean and lubricate them, unless there's corrosion. I would just take them to bits and remember where eveything goes.
  23. Ordered a large rear plate from fancyplates 16 days ago, they took my money 12 days ago. I'm still feckin waiting. Sent them 3 emails and haven't had one reply. I'm going to ring them on Monday Their customer service is none existant, what's the point in having an email address if you don't answer them. What a good way to lose business! Anyone else have any problems? I know they were overloaded with orders about 5 or 6 weeks ago and so had to wait longer but this was indicated on their website.
