  1. I'm confused that you're confused. The ignition live feed is there so you basically need to have the keys in the ignition and turned to the accesssory position for your head unit to switch on. This is to prevent the head unit from staying on when you leave the car which would obviously drain your battery. Nearly all cars including the Supra have an ignition live feed in the head unit wiring harness that's in the car behind the unit, it's normally the red wire. I would be surprised that your head unit doesn't come with 2 multiplugs which just plug into the mating connectors that are in the car. You shouldn't need to mess around with fuses and wire sizes for the ignition live supply.
  2. Yes, use the foam sleeve. I can't remember what the pins/ connectors are like. I recall using some crimp connectors though.
  3. Probably the best option. Do you have the weight, dimensions and the value of the item for the compensation cover?
  4. My epc says that this is the correct part number.
  5. The pistons could well be corroded, I replaced a couple of mine with stainless pistons from Brakes International.
  6. At least there'll be something good to watch on the news.
  7. That's a very good price for full stainless lines,"Hel" £51.04 including free del. The cheapest I can find the full stainless Goodridge lines for is £65.90 including delivery on ebay. I can't make up my mind now.
  8. Yes. They may have had a problem with their car. It's a pity one of the females in the other incident wasn't killed as she went on to murder a few days later.
  9. The Goodridge hoses appear to be the most popular, stock hoses from Toyota cost a lot more. You can get them with zinc plated end fittings or stainless steel. I'm going to get them from this seller on ebay. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/jwracing777/m.html?_nkw=GOODRIDGE+BRAKE+LINE+KIT+TOYOTA+SUPRA+JZA80&_sacat=0&_odkw=&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3911.c0.m270.l1313
  10. Very reliable, I fitted one to my van.
  11. Very nice indeed. It might be wise to edit your first post with the new price.
  12. Congratulations. Good name, my dad was called William.
  13. Give me one good reason why I should vote for you in preference to the other bands without listening to them all first which will obviously take more than 10 seconds?
  14. There isn't any difference between the TT and NA pipes. But: The ABS brakes use 2 pipes to the rear and the none ABS brakes use just one, all the pipes are different. Also, the facelift car from May 96, all the part numbers change.
  15. Sorry to hear the bad news. That's the best way to look at it, philosophically. It's easy to punish yourself wishing you had done various things before they died but people unfortunately die when you least expect. I'm sure she knew how you felt about her. My dad died 4 weeks ago :(:( I was in a terrible state at the time and have had all sorts of horrible thoughts going through my mind wishing I had said and done various things. I'm sure everyone who suffers a bereavement will go through this to one degree or another. It's got easier as the days have passed, time is a great healer. . .

    Wheels - opinions

Yes, but we all have different tastes and budgets and there are literally thousands of wheels to choose from. I'm out.
  17. I used barbecue paint, matt black so it doesn't look chavy and it's very durable. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_169403_langId_-1_categoryId_165495
  18. You did put the pads in the right way around?
