  1. Car looks really nice, great list of mods but you haven't got many good pics of the car. I'm sure it will help, side view, rear, interior, wheels etc. A picture speaks a thousand words!

    A Sad Day...

Very sad, sorry to hear this! I do aswell, nothing wrong with that though! Our cat died when he was 12 1/2, he hadn't been well for a while. He came into the kitchen and his legs just went from underneath him, luckily I managed to hold him. Had to get him put to sleep that morning, you've got little choice in the end but it's always the kindest thing to do.
  3. Got a price last year, I'm sure it was around the £56 mark!

    help

The point I was really making was, do a proper search. If you did you wouldn't need to ask such simple questions. That's why you get so few replies! If you asked a question like that on Supraforums it would be deleted
  5. Plenty of flux aswell, almost impossibe without it.
  6. If you remove the headlamps you can get to them aswell.
  7. Just looked at mine, the hole is approx 168mm x 320mm I'm still waiting for the plate from Fancyplates - 5 weeks tomorrow. They're totally incompetent , ignored 3 emails. Rang them up 2 weeks ago and they said they're waiting for the larger plastic plates which they should get in last week. I should have got the plate last week. Never use them again.
  8. Not sure of the width , but the plate I've ordered is 175mm high and this will just cover the hole.
  9. Not sure if the stuff here is helpful or not (probably not) terminal repair kit 82998-12440 is mentioned near the bottom http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=183315&highlight=coil+pack+clips

Obviously you haven't tried very hard then! Then you should have realised that it's not normally known as a front spoiler!

    help

    Search first and then ask!
  12. 150 odd quid though, just wished I knew for certain if it was okay or not. Don't want to spend the money unnecessarily.
  13. Same here, always in the back of your mind!
  14. Looks more like 4.5mm , don't know what to do?
  15. Parking the car, wanting to keep it away from others. Was going very slow as I was already in the space and just wanted to move it over a little , I didn't see the feckin kerb sticking out. What does anyone think, the rubber on the sidewall is very thick at that point because of the rim protector as most of you know. The damage isn't down as far as any internal structure.

    Nice bloke...

Scum like that deserve to die, they're no good to anyone . He would of got far worse if I got my hands on him, cannot tolerate people harming defenceless animals.
  17. Why are they designed to work in both directions then, tightening and loosening. Don't say it's for tightening left hand thread bolts! I'm not talking about exceeding it's designated max torque setting.
  18. Wheel and tyre size is an important factor aswell, what size have you got?
  19. You would think so, almost £200 when you've only got a small cut in the boot with the wire clip missing.
  20. Yeah, would've been interested but cannot wait with the longer delivery time.
  21. Some good stuff here but for the turbo car, all the important bits you need should be included though. http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/resources_supra.htm
  22. I wouldn't fancy using one though, one thing you don't have is a feel for how tight the bolt is in the first place which could lead to you shearing it off or stripping it anyway. Quite a few nuts and bolts on the car couldn't be reached with one of these impact wrenches , don't think getting to the control arm bolts which go through the bushes would be easy Never had any problems at all with a decent socket set and sometimes the torque wrench to give you more leverage, at least you can use the torque wrench to tighten them up again.
  23. Has anyone replaced the rubber boot on their control arm ball joint. Looks like someone has replaced them before, there's some wire fastened round the top end which doesn't look stock and the wire's gone where the balljoint goes into the hub. Most of the grease has come out aswell, also a small tear in the rubber. Can the boot be successfully replaced with a good one or should I be buying a new control arm which is what I'm thinking, they aren't cheap though!
  24. Just what I was going to say, rather have a good socket set and torque wrench. A long torque wrench is all you need for removing tight bolts.
