  1. I'll sign it aswell, same thing happening on Lake Windermere. :thumbdown Do I sign the monitor in the appropriate place?
  2. You can have a mutual agreement between the seller and buyer for not going ahead with the sale. I realise it's possible for you to negotiate the same price, but I also think Supra Nish deserved to get them as he did the work in getting the price set at £70. Don't blame you for bidding on them though, bet you couldn't believe your luck! The seller has to accept most of the blame!!! :thumbdown
  3. I think the facelift cars started from May 96. The VVTI cars started from Sept 97.
  4. On Supraforums they were talking about some of the NGK's doing just this, normal running would be okay but not so good for idling.
  5. I think you have to realise that you only got them for £70 because Supra Nish had negotiated a price with a seller, if it wasn't for him then the chances of you getting them would have been slim. I would have pounced on them like anyone else on here, but I'm sure I would let Supra Nish have them . The seller has to accept he was mostly to blame, he should've told Chilli that he made a mistake with the sale and kept his word and only sold them to Supra Nish.

    Make me look good!

The general condition of the car tells you a lot, if it's been looked after and maintained. Service history etc. Bimta can do mileage checks on imported cars. Get the AA or somone to check it over if you're not sure. Like most cars you've got to look out for panels that have been painted and might not match the rest of the car, it's the type of thing you don't always spot until later on. Accident damage, look out for crumpled areas in the boot around the spare wheel and also under the bonnet.
  7. If anyone wants a silver, low mileage , manual TT. Most of you have probably seen this while looking for some more cheap brakes! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4573967818&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

    Cambelt

http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/resources/SUPRA_MKIV/Timing_Belt_Removal.pdf Use a long breaker bar to get more leverage or Like bignum said, some have used the starter motor to turn over the engine and therefore rotating the crankshaft to loosen the bolt. The wrench will have to be fixed so it won't rotate, only worth doing it this way if you're confident that you won't break anything. You don't want to start the engine so you'll have to prevent this by disconnecting the ignition pack or removing a fuse.

    pictures

You can host them elsewhere. http://www.photobucket.com for example Then copy and paste the link that it provides.
  11. 2 nuts, 1 bolt Near the wing you'll see a nut, there is also one below this which is more awkward. Also a bolt on top near the radiator.
  12. I think you were right, something does need greasing or lubricating!
  13. Sounds about right at £10,000. Find some things that you would have to get fixed and then offer him £9000, be prepared to pay something in the middle.
  14. You can get them for £349 now!
  15. I'll save Matt Harwood replying, he installs them for a living. I've got the Toad Ai606, no problems at all!
  16. They are the same 90942-01062 This might be for a full set of 20 Same nuts for space saver. Envy have supplied them before, might be cheaper.
  17. I've got 3mm ones on the front, no problem . I wouldn't advise using ones that are too thick though. You might need longer studs to hold the wheels securely.

    headlight change

When you're doing the drivers side, remove the air filter cover (2 clips). This will give you more space.
  19. What do you mean by the size? UK brakes or smaller J spec brakes? Toyota get most parts in 2 days, unlikely to have them in stock. Just give them your model and frame numbers.
  20. You could use some spacers if they need to come out a little!
