  1. I've just been looking on the EPC. On the diagram only the washer on the nearside of the car is labelled for some reason. It's actually available in different thicknesses 2,4,6 and 8.5mm. This must mean that the thickness was adjusted to align the propshaft. This would allow for the fact that the cars aren't completely identical and you couldn't simply fit it the same way as it is on another Supra. I might be wrong but I can't think of any other reason for the washer being available in different thicknesses. On the EPC they are sold in packs of 2. Surely this would mean you use one on each side. I would put one standard washer on each side and use the thicker one to compensate for the varying height of the support bracket.
  2. Toad Ai606 without question. Nothing fancy, very reliable.

    ebay advice..

When you click on "Buy It Now" the auction will end. It's got to end as someone else might try to buy it. If he's worried that you won't pay up then he can relist it for free if you back out.
  4. I was going to ask where it was advertised, then I found it. I know someone who would like to get a manual VVTI.
  5. That's true, the only drawback is that you would have to keep repeating the application like you say. I wouldn't put the underseal stuff on any bits of the car that would need removing, they aren't rust proofed anyway. I put the underseal on the chassis only, leaving the suspension , subframe etc. Maybe underseal on the chassis, sills etc and the waxoil on everything else.
  6. I'll edit this, I had no problem last year! Still can't edit my posts though.
  7. Sept 97. Chassis number 1000849 was the first VVTI

  14. Is this the one ? If so , part no is 68801-14050 Hinge sub-assy, Back door, Upper RH
  15. 3 adjusters. If you turn the bottom one anti-clockwise it will lower the headlight beam. The adjusters have a fine thread, so you'll have to turn it quite a bit to see any difference. Adjuster nearest wing - clockwise will lower fog light. Middle adjuster - clockwise will move headlight towards centre line of car
