I wouldn't bother loosening them first. The subframe bolts are unlikely to be too tight , just tighten them to the correct torque. They aren't that critical like some other parts on the car. With other things just tighten them to the correct torque if you are putting them back together or if you are checking their tightness.

No need really. Where the decat goes onto the turbo elbow just use some exhaust assembly paste. Other joints, just re-use the gaskets and put some of the exhaust assembly paste on to make sure.

The NA Supra will behind up until 60mph for certain. Impreza wrx 0-60 5.9s 222Bhp 221 lb-ft torque approx The Impreza is also lighter, Supra more aerodynamic. A very close race, no obvious winner.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated. I was thinking it would take much longer, should be able to get it running okay for the MOT. Need to drive to Halfords anyway to get a normal size front plate!

If you can buy these washers in variable thicknesses I think it would mean that all cars aren't the same. What other reason would there be?

It should've been designed with a F.O.S - Factor of Safety, just like anything else which means it would take considerably more weight than the specified value.

Some gasket type stuff that comes in a tube, it won't become hard and brittle like most other glues.

You're probably better off speaking to somone who sells wheels and tyres. Ibrar Jabbar is a member on here, he's got Pro Alloys. http://www.pro-alloys.co.uk/ His advert is sometimes at the top of the screen. I think my tyres are too wide for the wheel aswell !

Seen them all, very good. That bloke getting the Corvette sorted was a right arsehole! Charlie just got sick of the repeated deadlines to get the car finished , don't blame him for leaving. I think Boyd Coddington was very childish, he wouldn't even shake his hand when he left . I used to watch American Chopper but I avoid it now, got sick of them arguing all the time.

It says somewhere that if you ask the sort of question that can be easily answered with a search that you can get your post deleted. You can go out of your way answering a question for somone and never get any thanks or acknowledgement at all. Completely different attitude on here, much more friendly.

Don't think I would stop unless they clearly identified themselves as being the Police. The Policeman driving the car was just a little careless, just got too close in the end . He didn't run him over deliberately!
