If you've got an import or a UK car you can get all your parts from the local Toyota dealer, some of them are miserable sods though. Traders on here can get you most things aswell and they're more knowledgeable.

The manual just recommends ethylene glycol based stuff which is very popular. Halfords should have some, mix with some distilled water. http://www.mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/coolant_replacement/index.html

Get the anti-squeal shims if you haven't got them. A thin layer of copper grease smeared on the edges of the backing plate where it comes into contact with the caliper and some on the back . Careful not to use too much and it doesn't come in contact with the friction material and the disc. Don't bother if you don't know what you're doing though and get someone that does.

Don't like buying second hand electrical things! How can you make sure it has the serial number displayed when you're getting it off Ebay though, you won't know until you've paid and it comes in the post?

It might be that the current draw from the car you got the jump start from into your battery would be fairly high and has damaged your battery and possibly other things. When you charge a battery up using a charger you're only supposed to do it slowly. I think you might have a problem with your battery, not sure if it's permanent or not but if it's still possible to charge it up and you haven't tried then it will be pretty lifeless after being totally drained. The first thing I would do would be to get the battery checked out.
