The front ones are crap, about 4". Most of make up a bracket from MDF to hold the speaker, it's a little fiddly getting it just right to seal the door and also get the speaker just in the right place. The rear speakers are in the side panels in the rear, some cars have a woofer located just behind the rear seats. Easy to replace the ones at the back, prise off the cover and have a look. The front ones are much smaller, to fit bigger ones you'll have to remove the plastic housing and make a new bracket or fit them to the door card. You have to remove the door card to get access, don't prise off the cover unless you want to break the fixings.

go buy a diesel! Bad is bad! When I bought the Supra it never occured to me to check the mpg , what could I expect with such a fast car. I ain't got much spare cash at the moment either, I fill it up and forget about it.

The boost will go up considerably giving you more power, the turbo's will spool up much quicker . It will feel much more responsive! Most cars will fail the MOT without the catalysts but there are exceptions. Generally you need to fit just the one catalyst to get it to pass the MOT, the second one is a liitle easier to fit than the first. It will be noiser , better to have an exhaust where you can fit a baffle if you like to make it a little quieter. It's nice to have the increased performance but you soon get used to it!

If you do the full decat it will be loud, louder than a TT car. Not so bad if you have an exhaust that you can fit a baffle in the end if you want it quieter.

It's very misleading, especially if you're talking about how much it'll sell for. If the buyer doesn't know anything about Supra's he won't realise the differences with the facelift car. He may also assume it's a VVTI. When the auction finishes I'm going to send the highest bidders a little message!

Exactly what I was going to say. Don't cut into the arm, you'll cause a stress raiser which could result in a crack. I would use a big vice to squeeze it out, a sleeve on one side against the suspension arm and a smaller one or a socket against the bush.

I fitted my Toad alarm a few months ago, I connected the wires from the alarm to the central locking terminals in the fuse box in the drivers footwell. Didn't need to do anything else. I've got a facelift car, I would be surprised if the wires are different. The price isn't far off, don't forget it's an auto - maybe 14K or less. Mightn't be anything wrong with the car, you could get it checked out properly first.

Just answered the door to the DHL delivery bloke to get a parcel. There's a Volvo Police Patrol car sitting right infront of the driveway doing speed checks. He's got his car parked behind my van on the main road, I've got the Supra parked a little further down the driveway which he was staring at while I was signing for the parcel. He said I just need to give him a shout and he'll move his car to let me out. Seeing I was a litlle naughty (160 leptons) 10 days ago on the motorway about a mile away I've decided to wait in the house till he's gone, that way he'll not see the small front plate. I didn't see any camera's or anything , wished I hadn't gone that quick though. I'm wondering why he was staring at the car, thought he might have shouted over nice car or something. I'll definately shit myself if he knocks on the door, please go away!

Best not to run the car at all now. Like Jay said you'll just cause more damage - the Lambda sensor and maybe the catalsts. Isn't the nozzle on a diesel filler pump larger than an unleaded one, unless the supra isn't I'm not sure how it was possible to put any diesel in.

This is the first catalyst. The decat pipe will be the same length but just a plain tube. I'm surprised that with 11 others viewing this before me that knowone replied!

I better get the new belt I've got fitted then!
