  1. He must've been terrified
  2. Just what I going to say. Some of them must have just gone along with it because they were with their mates ,I would definately blame the driver and whoever broke into the car and got it running.
  3. Try http://www.fancyplates.com I waited quite a while for delivery because there was a backlog but you can get them done to a custom size.
  4. I don't go for most of the aftermarket bumpers neither. I can imagine that the standard exhaust from a Toyota dealer would be expensive , secondhand ones regularly appear on Ebay. I'm sure you'll find a member on here living nearby that'll have one, most of them will just want shot of them so I wouldn't pay much at all if anything.
  5. It's visible on all standard Supra's, NA & TT.
  6. Definately be worth it. Did you put it in an oven or use a heat heat gun? You'll have to use a similar mastic when you put them back together so they'll come apart again if necessary .
  7. Think so? I was just waiting for somone to turn up and say I'm totally wrong. I know feck all about operating systems!
  8. Not 100%, just going off what imi said Select: Control panel System Hardware Device manager Universal serial bus controllers, then select the appropriate one for your broadband internet connection Power manager If you right click on "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" Then left click on " What's this?" it will explain what checking this box means.
  9. You've definately got to move it, even if you disable it you still don't want anyone breaking in and attempting to steal it.
  10. Not cheap! 89465-19725 ..... £134.26 including VAT without any discount It's a lot of money to pay out if it's not the oxygen sensor.
  11. Different one on the VVTI, I checked the part numbers when I got mine.

    Pet's

Sorry to here that, I understand how you feel. Our cat Timmy also got knocked over. If I see a cat that's been knocked over I always stop and see if I can do anything, I cannot just drive past. Unfortunately most of the time they are beyond help. I look for a name tag and if possible find the owner, if not I'll pick them up and put them away from the road.

    HID Kit Anyone?

I did think about it. I couldn't sell an item I'm not happy with to someone else though.

    HID Kit Anyone?

Thanks It's nice getting some good stuff , better than Christmas. Wish I hadn't spent my money on the HID kit supplied by Performa who's now disappeared.

    HID Kit Anyone?

Any chance of some pics of the kit before it's fitted.
  16. My VVTI failed the first MOT as the result of a faulty Lambda sensor. But the emissions were way out. CO was 8.6 , HC 294 and Lambda 0.749 (very rich) It passed the re-test with a new Lambda sensor. The HC and Lamda values were very close to what you got. For the CO value I got 0.073 compared to your 0.77. I had both catalysts in place. Looks like your Lambda sensor is working okay, if it's faulty it would make the mixture richer to prevent damage to the engine. The catalysts will convert poisonous CO to less harmful C02 .
  17. Don't like him at all, when he was on Top Gear he slagged off Ainsley Harriot and his cooking for no reason at all.

    A Sad Day

Sorry to here this, very sad. It's horrible when your pet dies.
  19. Definately! I've done quite a few heads, not the Supra yet but it looks easy enough. I'm sure you and your Grandad won't have problems, technically much the same as any other engine.
  20. You're correct. The washers look like the ones for the cam covers. The stem oil seals are correct, they are like this. Have you looked at the thread from Tlicence The inlet/exhaust valve seals are identified near the end. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=49859 Must be your first cylinder head job.
  21. The exhaust is hanging low! I bent the long hanging bar to pull it up, I've still caught it a few times. I've got some stainless sheet which I'm going to fasten around the front silencer to protect it.

    Woman for Ian C

The three on the right might be dwarfs!
  23. It is funny, some of us and I'm one of them probably never miss a post- nothing better to do!
