The traction control light does come on when it's in use. It just takes far too much power away which can be dangerous when pulling out infront of other vehicles when you need full control. It's as though the brakes have just come on automatically. Try experimenting with it on/off in a large car park in the wet.

That's exactly how to waste money and completely ruin a good car.

Roy's wife, Laura, had been battling an illness for quite sometime, and last week she succumbed to that illness and passed away. She and Roy were soul mates and needless to say that devastated Roy. Last night Roy joined her in Heaven. He passed away ending his bought with lung cancer. We wanted to let all of you who wrote in know that Roy did get your messages. It doesn't indicate any particular fault but can also come on with another light. Seatbelt not on and other things. But if you've taken it past the red line it's probably more serious.

It shouldn't move at all with the handbrake applied firmly. They might need adjusting , worth trying the other side to see what it's like. They can get neglected, I would have a look of the shoes/ linkages etc and make sure everythings okay.
