  1. Like I said before the compressor pump (pistons) are likely to have seized if it's been standing. Obviously the compressor itself is driven my a motor, see if you can disconnect the drive from the motor to the compressor and get the motor to run by itself. Try turning the compressor over by hand.
  2. I couldn't even last an hour watching it last night, very slow .
  3. Lack of use will make it difficult to turn over as the pistons in the compressor will stick/seize to some degree. I hadn't used my compressor for a month or so, together with that and the cold I couldn't get it to start without blowing fuses. I turn the motor over on mine by hand (make sure it's unplugged) until it moves much more freely and because of the extreme cold recently I warmed up the compressor with a hot air gun, It then started up no bother .
  4. Nice Ferrari. Jason Plato on Fifth Gear said it's the best car he's driven. I didn't like the look of the Porsche at all, the SLS is okay but to me looks small and hasn't got road presence that you would expect for that sort of money.
  5. You can drive on tarmac with them but they'll wear down much quicker. Dominic Littlewood tested some winter tyres on The One Show, they were very good.
  6. Proper fitting plastic spigot rings are acceptable in my opinion. I wouldn't say they're purely just for centering the wheel, I wouldn't be happy driving the car without them. Performance Alloys sell aluminium spigot rings. £8.25 each.
  7. What about the other cars then? I couldn't possibly vote for your car just because it's a Supra without looking at all of the cars in the competition and making my own decision.
  8. DIY stuff in the home too.
  9. You don't have to pay any extra. Grandstand ticket. It gives you admission through the gate into the circuit first so you can stand and watch at most locations around the circuit if you please, your seat is there reserved for you on the Sunday. General admission ticket Gives you admission through the gate into the circuit first so you can stand and watch at most locations around the circuit
  10. Yes, a sky dish will do the job, a zone 2 (scotland and the north) dish is a little larger than a standard dish and will help with improved performance in bad weather - may aswell buy the the zone 2 dish as it's only a few pound extra. You should be able to get a descent one off ebay as they're all very much the same and last for years as they're relatively small and don't need particularly strong brackets. We've used quite a few different makes of lnb over the years without really noticing any difference in performance or durability.
  11. I used my satnav that displays speed and adjusted the needle according when stationary. or Get someone to drive in the next lane at a fixed speed.
  12. It's just a matter of time, there's no chance of Lord Sugar employing him. I would've sacked him after the previous task even if he was in the winning team.
  13. Exactly! I wish them the best of luck..
  14. Some of those questions were ridiculous. How on earth can normal people know the answers to these two questions? The number of children and young people up to the age of 19 in the UK is 13, 14, 15 or 16 million ? The percentage of people in the UK in 2001 who said they were Muslims was 1.6, 2.7, 3.4 or 4.2% ?
  15. What an interesting race it's going to be, I can imagine a few cars coming together. If they maintain their starting positions Vettel cannot win the championship so will have to back Alonso into the chasing cars which will obviously include Webber.

  17. It was. They also took off with a tail wind and had more luggage on board than they intially allowed for in their take off calculations.
  18. I wouldn't give him any of those details. Has he asked about the condition of the car and how flexible your Dad would be on the price etc as those are the questions most genuine people would ask? I would do the same.

Thanks for letting us know, we were thinking of going over sometime as we haven't been before.
  20. When you're getting a price to deliver a rectangular box which covers most packages I would think I've always thought it was always based just on the volume/weight and it wouldn't matter which you specified as the length width and height but it can on the parcel2go website.
  21. On my EPC they are the same. NA J spec..... 44320-14240 J spec TT......... 44320-14250 US TT Supra..... 44320-14250 http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=542421&highlight=44320-14250
  22. Were they prompted by the US, on Sky an hour ago they said it wasn't clear who discovered the plot? I can't imagine them being too eager to let it be known that their own security department failed to find it.
  23. Do you have Microsoft excel? Enters the number and see what it says. Supra Tyre fitment.xls
  24. If you're not confident of doing it yourself then don't. You don't normally get any instuctions with a refurb kit. You'll need to inspect the pistons/bores too and the sliders if you have the smaller brakes. I had to replaces 2 pistons on mine as they were pitted. I used a compressor to push out the pistons, use a small block of wood to prevent them shooting out and causing some damage.
  25. You should have one, I haven't looked for it on mine but others have said that there're 2 plugs in the wiring harness behind the head unit, one for the standard aerial and the other for the one in the rear window glass.
