  1. Has anyone removed their front indicators permanently. Doing this will increase the airflow to the SMIC and make it look better aswell. I was thinking about dispensing with the fog light in the headlight and using it for the indicator, only trouble is that you need to find a new position for the side light aswell because on the facelift car it's located in the indicator housing. I've considered using the main beam as the side light, If I feed the side light supply to the bulb but passing it through a resistor to reduce it's supply current and therefore reducing its light output. Or is it possible to get a headlight bulb with 2 filaments like you can with some rear light bulbs. Anyone done this. I know some on Supraforums have but not with the facelift light?
  2. My parents TV packed in a month or so ago, we searched all the AV forums looking for the best plasma. This came out top PANASONIC TH42PV500 http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/455_264598.html You can get it a little cheaper than this.
  3. Did the other one have a "Wedding Dress" on?
  4. Did the other one have a dress on? Edit "Wedding dress"
  5. Best one I thought, is it work safe? http://www.silcom.com/~psalm/images/erin.jpg
  6. Low is about 1" from the bottom High is about 2 1/4" higher (this is about 3.5"-4" from the top) You don't need to fill it up, as always check the level when it's cold. On mine the markings are on the right side of the tank.
  7. Aren't 9.5" & 10.5" a little wide for those tyre sizes. Shouldn't you be starting with the tyre sizes you require based on grip/handling and then choosing the correct wheel widths. I thought it would be better to go for 9" & 10" wheels with maybe 245/255 front and 275/285 rear, at least the tyres will protect the wheel a bit more.
  8. You might have bought it from the place then! All of the pics of the Walbro pumps I've seen have "Walbro" clearly marked on them. I cannot find much at all to verify their performance and quality. Not particularly happy ordering a Walbro and getting a Sytec instead.
  9. When I went BPU in 2004 I ordered a Walbro pump which I then fitted. Never bought a Walbro before and the one I got looked just like the ones I've seen pics of on here. Just been looking at the box it came in, it's a Sytec FSE ITP 216 and not a Walbro. Are these as good as Walbro, can hardly find anything after doing a search?
  10. Thanks everyone I think the AEM also does A/F ratio and Lambda. There doesn't appear to be much difference between the Innovate and AEM units apart from the Innovate having a record button. Innovate better than AEM?
  11. Following on from the BPU thread. So for BPU , which would give priority and why. EGT gauge or Wide band O2 gauge I've done a search on here and elsewhere , they're so many conflicting views. I know they're not totally necessary but it would be nice to keep an eye on things engine wise just incase. Would an EGT gauge indicate a lean mixture by an increase in temp and the same if the air charge gets too high, whereas a wideband would only indicate the obvious A/F ratio.
  12. Better diet, less chocolate and cakes, 20% chance Save up for some new wheels, 20% chance of saving up and 80% chance of just buying some anyway.

    Hi..I'm New

Hello! All the Supra's can be decatted regardless of year, most just re-fit the second cat to get it through the MOT. Nic, a member on here can get you a good price on brakes and other stuff. Some of the J spec cars had the larger brakes already fitted, mine did. There isn't many at all VVTI 6 speed cars around. My J spec VVTI 6 speed doesn't have any weak points!
  14. I think he should be named regardless of whether he sorts it or not. If he's knowingly sold such a crap car then he deserves no sympathy at all. Do everyone a favour and name him!
  15. Stupid really, why couldn't it be sold and the money used for something worthwhile.
  16. It is, but it depends on whether you want to keep to the stock sizes. Knowone could tell rim width and offsets and guarantee they'll fit. Depends on what brakes you've got aswell. Not all wheels fit over the larger brakes. The largest wheels fitted to the Supra as standard were: Front ... 17" x 8" .......... 235/45 - 17 Rear .... 17" x 9.5" ....... 255/40 - 17 Offset 50, I think.
  17. Use the excel file that I posted earlier! It's good, it tells you what size tyre you can use on a particular size wheel. Like Bobbeh said, you want at least 255 on the back for a standard car!
  18. This is handy, you can fill in the boxes and it will tell you if the tyres fit the wheel. Supra Tyre fitment.xls
  19. Yeah that! 235 on the rear is way too narrow, be very careful or the rear end will step right out if use too much power. Bare in mind that you'll need to check out the "wheel width". if you want to put wider tyres on. When I bought mine the tyres were too wide for the wheel , the result was a very large split on the inside sidewall.
