  1. There's a connector that you can disconnect near the spare wheel, front/left corner.

    swish US supra

Very nice , they've got some tasty cars over there.
  3. So would I ,but it looks like he doesn't have a choice of widths. 245 on the front and 265 on the rear wil be fine .
  4. This will be fine. Maybe 265 max at the rear.

    Supra TT v BMW M5

Never ever! But the BMW is so bland, it looks even more dated than the Supra. For me the looks of the car are just as important as performance/handling.

    Supra TT v BMW M5

Some of the V8 cars along with Jaguars suffered from premature wearing of the Nikasil bore lining . It's quite common for them to have a new engine fitted. Best to get a car with a full BMW FSH , they should pick this up. I think the later cars were okay though, worth checking.

    Supra TT v BMW M5

The M5 is a great car with plenty of performance. But it doesn't look like anything special at all, a little boring. There aren't any unreliability issues with the Supra that I've read about since being on here, get a low mileage well maintained car and you'll not regret it.
  8. Easy to do, you can unbolt the existing clamps and bolt on some larger ones with just a little persuasion. Similar to this http://www.hookedontronics.com/brands/phoenix_gold/tmc-25gsmall.jpg Worth getting a battery of the correct physical height and depth though so you can still use the metal strap that holds it in place.
  9. The manual says 1.8 litres CJ.
  10. When I filled it up it did stop going in a couple of times so I repositioned the filler tube.
  11. Yes ,just under 2 litres, very little left from 2 cans.
  12. NGK BKR7E (6097) work perfectly on a BPU car, gapped at 0.8mm Only about £11 for 6 . Why buy anything more expensive if these work?
  13. You've been on here 3 1/2 years and you still dont know?
  14. Early cars silver metallic code 199 Later cars 6NO for Gunmetal 1B9 for Quicksilver
  15. It wouldn't explain your clock resetting itself. I haven't got a clock in mine, would it reset itself only if you lost all power from the battery? Problems with the engine warning light coming on aren't easily diagnosed without doing a diagnostic test, I think this is what I would look at first. It's possible to do a diagnostic test yourself. Diagnostic Test
  16. Are the battery terminal clamps okay?
  17. ROFL It's there just to prevent dust/dirt getting in. Use anything that the lets air pass through it but will stop most other things, I think most spongue material is a little dense for this.
  18. If you send the seller a pm then ask him to acknowledge your message with just a quick reply if he hasn't got the time. You always know if the pm has been read aswell. If you send numerous messages and he doesn't reply then name him on here for definate, he deserves all he gets if he keeps ignoring you. There aren't any excuses for this at all.
  19. Check this site out , should be available in Yorkshire now. http://www.greenergy.com/products/99_octane_locations.html
  20. 6 - speed box......... 90080-31029
  21. I'll tell you exactly how to do it, I did mine recently. Buy a motorbike inner tube like this, I got one from this seller. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/21-inner-tube-motocross-crf-kx-ktm-sx-yz-rm-rmz-yzf-cr_W0QQitemZ8020102175QQcategoryZ21669QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Cut it through so you've got one long tube with the valve in the middle. Slip each end over the places you've indicated, clamp it down and then inflate a little. With the rubber tube rigid you have to wrap it totally without any gaps with duct tape. Two layers is better. You can now pump it up to 1.2 bar. Failure to wrap it with tape properly will result in it bursting with a loud bang! ( I know from my first attempt) You can just test the pressure with a gauge to see if it maintains it.
  22. Apparently workman with hard hats and large boots were going into the betting shop which was around the corner and placing bets that it wouldn't open in time for the FA cup final. A failsafe bet if they had anything to do with it I would think.

    Colour

Mine's red, I like quicksilver too. They're all nice when shiny and polished, good wheels and without these snow ploughs fitted to the front and some of these massive rear wings. I've seen some nice black cars but some horrible ones aswell.
