  2. It's the whole area. Not that I would call it that, but I have heard of it before. It says Australasia on their site.
  3. Haven't you forgotten something? I know there's a couple in your garage, but a side on pic would be better I'm sure.
  4. I'm not familiar with these wheels. If you've got the normal 5 nuts holding the wheel on, then why have they tried to undo the centre nut?
  5. A pic would help, but from the description you gave it sounds like nothing at all. If the curbing hadn't removed a sliver of rubber then you and others wouldn't even consider replacing it. The little bit of rubber won't be missed if the braiding underneath isn't exposed.
  6. More than likely it will be okay, tyres are designed for abuse like this. An MOT is all about safety, it wouldn't fail on this unless it was down to the braiding underneath. If all that is exposed is more black rubber then it wil be okay.
  7. From the website : OFF-SET: 35mm - 40mm .........................................35 to 40
  8. Very poor! Surely they could think of something that would be of interest to real car enthusiasts!
  9. Her giggling is so irritating aswell.
  10. Might be worth watching. Jason Plato helps a jackpot lottery winner choose a supercar. Tiff gives the first TV verdict on the Jaguar XK after test-driving it in South Africa. Plus Tom Ford's Geneva Motorshow video diary. Vicki Butler-Henderson tests two Subarus head-to-head. Jon Bentley tries out a revolutionary new car hire scheme.
  11. It's not! They should ban 95% of all female drivers. Everyone over 70. Everyone under 22. Any man who drives a Ford Puma/Ka.
  12. Very irresponsible saying that! Some won't know any better and will do it! Don't lubricate near the pads/shoes unless you know what you're doing. If you want it done properly then you should be checking the condition of the handbrake shoes first. You'll obviously need to remove a wheel. Best to get someone to show you what to do or take it somewhere.
  13. Hello! Curt Aigner at Elmhurst Toyota in the States will be able to get you one. I've just done a search on Supraforums.com, he has his own section if you don't already know. He has quoted a price on 89421-12111 to some members. About $200

  15. I've thought about it, but like on Pete's car (facelift) you need to do something with the side lights aswell. Hope you've got a logon for Supraforums. I found these a while back. Tutorial from Supraforums more and yet more
  16. Definately worth replacing the diff oil if you're on a trip to Luxembourg.
  17. Might be the exhaust if you haven't got a standard one. Has it been doing this since you got the car or fitted an exhaust. On my Nur Spec R the back box wil drop a little when it warms up due to the hanging rubbers stretching a little when warm. Think I would check this first to make sure it's not catching.
  18. Amazing! Didn't expect them to get four goals!
  19. You don't have to remove the balljoint to fit a new boot!
  20. The grease will come out! I've seen some universal boots on Ebay, or try your local motor factors. I would be surprised if you couldn't get another, it's much easier to get a match with the control arm off the car.
  21. If you don't want to cut the wire in half, then use some self amalgamating tape. It's much better than insulation tape.

    295/30/18

Need to know your wheel width, diameter and offset aswell. What tyre are you running now, if you're using the same wheel you could check to see if a 295 tyre would fit.
  23. I think fixed cameras in an unfamiliar area are more of a worry. TomTom satnav is good for that. Can't remember the last time I saw a mobile one. Aren't laser detectors pointless?
