  1. I was watching the bloke mixing the paint, I know they use a digital scale but I didn't expect him to pour the incredients in by hand. I asked for the 3L2 red, the first colour he mixed was like a maroon colour. He looked at the computer and said there was a lighter shade also, the second effort didn't look too bad, haven't tried it yet though. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence! £9.99 for an aerosol isn't cheap, they didn't have enough for a 500ml tin.
  2. That's nice to know - thanks.
  3. Anyone had any paint mixed at Halfords? I'm going to try and get some red - 3L2, did the UK cars use exactly the same paint as the Imports. I can't see why they would use anything different. I'm expecting them to say no when I tell them I've got an import though! Tried a couple of local body shops but I cannot get a good match.
  4. Looks like a right mess! Definately looks used.

    Poor guy!

I've not seen it. Poor bloke.
  6. Some sellers are complete idiots. How can they expect to receive repeat orders if they don't provide the service you expect the first time. Customer service is everything, everyone hates waiting.
  7. No LOL It's 120 on Sky digital.
  8. 18" wheels are fine, best combination of looks and handling. You'll have more choice aswell. Have you got a NA or TT? If you're not fussy about looks then get some secondhand 17" Supra wheels.
  9. The fatest , lightest , shortest or tallest would be interesting.
  10. You better get searching then , the answer is there!
  11. I can never remember, why don't you have a look!
  12. No reason why you can't do it. Nothing to lose now and nothing else to play for if you do get knocked out. As a Newcastle supporter I hope you don't though. Only kidding!
  13. Are the correct parts highlighted? 48331-14080 Bumper front spring 48157-24010 Insulator, front coil spring 48341-24040 Bumper rear spring 48257-24010 Insulator, rear coil spring

    ABS Spec

There's loads of J spec cars that had the UK bigger brakes fitted as standard, they don't all have the smaller J spec brakes. If you've got ABS then you'll have no problems with a RLTC install.
  15. It wouldn't look too narrow. But a 255 is too wide on a 8" rim, my car came like this. The result was splits on the inside sidewall! 245 max on a 8" rim
  16. On a 7" wheel the max tyre size would be a 215. There's loads of 8" wheels out there.
  17. Performance 0-60 mph: 4.3 s 0-100 mph: 9.8 s 0-1/4 mile : 12.6 s @ 114 mph Top speed : 191 mph A BPU Supra I'm sure would have quite a bit more torque than the Ferrari . Acceleration from say 60 up might be surprisingly even. Need a single to beat it though.
