  1. Buying a towbar is probably why you cannot tow, not sure if you can buy them off the shelf!
  2. CJ posted this a while back, he lives in Oxfordshire . Steve Manley is the parts bloke at his local Toyota dealer, loads of people on here have bought parts from him. He'll post them to you.
  3. Not sure about the availability of a bush. Have a look in the parts for sale section , breaking 94 Supra. Maybe put an ad in the wanted section. You can buy all Jap spec parts from your local Toyota dealer. Cheapest place for a new arm would be from this dealer http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=41383&highlight=manley Nic would be able to get one cheaper but you would have to wait a while.
  4. Sounds good. Good luck! I've a got a Panasonic, you can set the programme timer on the freeview/sky box . When they switch on it will automatically turn the DVD recorder on and start recording - very handy.
  5. What channel you trying to record, I've had no problems recording from BBC1 ,ITV etc from the freeview box?
  6. Are you trying to record onto a blank dvd or onto the HDD?
  7. They relearn very quickly.
  8. The ECU will rest when you fit a new battery, this isn't a problem though. Not 100% sure about the alarm, make sure it's not armed even if there isn't a switch on the bonnet. I know with some alarms you can have porblems if you remove the battery without disarming the alarm first.
  9. Nice cat! Looking a little thin!
  10. Quality colour, nice wheels aswell! Definately the best colour Supra!

    Bleed valve?

Thanks for the reply John! I always try if I can to get decent quality parts , there doesn't appear to be much choice though.

Don't ask any questions about bleed valves then!

    Bleed valve?

It is. I'm getting 1 bar now with my full decat, just want to raise it to 1.2 bar. I've looked on here, Ebay , Supraforums and Google and I still cannot find much in the way of bleed valves. Does this look any good, all I'm looking for is a decent quality one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-TURBO-BOOST-CONTROLLER-VALVE-SUBARU-TURBO-CAR_W0QQitemZ8060689535QQcategoryZ72205QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Looks just like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Under-Bonnet-Bleed-Valve-Lockable_W0QQitemZ8060001280QQcategoryZ72205QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  14. jungle (rumble in) Anyone going to answer my questions about bleed valves? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=66797

    Bleed valve?

If a bleed valve doesn't actually change the way the waste-gate actuator works then isn't that we want, just letting it achieve a higher boost. If a manufacturer like Toyota designed the waste-gate to open gradually then isn't that the best way? I'm still confused as to which is best for the turbo's and engine!

    Bleed valve?

I'm confused John, the seller states " PLEASE NOTE.....THIS IS NOT A BLEED VALVE.....IT IS A PRECISION MADE BOOST CONTROLLER".

    Bleed valve?

Sounds good , do you know where I can get one from? I've looked on Ebay and Google and I'm just finding the same type like the one above.

    Bleed valve?

Where do I get a decent bleed valve from? Are there good and bad ones? Found this one on Ebay, is this the type I'm after? Not sure if I need a 2 or 3 way one? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Under-Bonnet-Bleed-Valve-Lockable_W0QQitemZ8060001280QQcategoryZ72205QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Thanks
  19. This is the one from MVP. http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/merchant/catalogpics/mk4/gary/pic05.jpg
  20. I had to cut the heads off the pins and knock them out the other way. The caliper bolts were extremely tight aswell! You're right about the leverage, there's hardly enough room for a lever unless it's on a ramp.
  21. MVP used to do them, but I can't see them on their website. Some make their own. Someone might turn up shortly and tell you where you can get them.
  22. Do you mean a box with vertical sides with seals that go up against the bonnet? The air intake of the car feeds into it and it keeps the hot air from the engine bay out
  23. You know what I mean though! Chelsea spent £175 million in transfer fees in 2003/04! Generally the success and wealth of the so called top clubs is built up over a long period of time , most of the money is generated internally. They haven't always been at the top but have got there deservedly. I wouldn't complain though if a billionaire wanted to takeover my local club.
  24. Not that impressed really! They're not exactly competing on equal terms with the other clubs are they?
