    Big Loss...

A little sad that he got injured and couldn't play for the last three weeks. Nice to Alan Shearer with his wife and kids.
  2. You always do what's best for them though! It must've been very quick. He wouldn't know anything about it.
  3. Sorry, it's so horrible you just feel numb. Time is the only healer.
  4. The NA is louder than the TT after a decat. Can't find my silencer thing.

  6. I'm the same, I hardly ever use up a full bottle of the stuff.
  7. We don't often see pics of owners on here, nevermind female ones!
  8. Alan Sugar's decision at the end is always worth watching.
  9. Very nice! I like the car too!
  10. Four days at the British GP. Nice camping in the field nearby when the sun's shining.
  11. You don't have to plug it into the decat pipe. Just unscrew it, leave it connected to the cable and just tie it up somewhere where it won't rattle. Like impervious said, the studs that hold the front end of the first cat on can give problems. They can shear off and access isn't easy. I would only do it on a ramp , be prepared for any sheared studs.

    Hey Supra01

Isn't it a UK spec Import?

    Hey Supra01

He's from the Republic of Ireland which obviously isn't in the UK. I don't necessarily think he was trying to mislead anyone by putting UK spec. All he's done is include a small photo of another to enhance his advert a little which he's already aplogised for and said he would remove. Nice looking car!

    Hey Supra01

One picture out of many! So what, no big deal. Nice looking car by the way!
  15. Didn't you watch Mythbusters? It was about even.
  16. I advised this to someone a while back after reading it somewhere, I was told it wasn't necessary by quite a few on here. That's why I didn't mention it this time, it does appear to be sensible though if you've got a choice of position.
  17. Fit the restrictor ring on one of the exhaust flanges , it's not important. Some of the exhaust paste stuff on either side works. The decat pipe where it goes onto the turbo elbow - use exhaust paste. Use the 2 gaskets and put them on either side of the decat pipe if they're the right ones and are a good fit, use some paste aswell if you have to.

    400 bhp or not

It could be 400 bhp without a boost controller, a full decat can give you 1.2 bar which is the max boost pressure most of us go for on stock turbo's. It's dependant on other mods aswell including intercooler and fuelling. You don't necessarily need a boost contoller with a full decat!
  19. I'm a little confused how it could be a 1996/7 P reg VVTI. They didn't start making the VVTI until Sept 97 which is a R reg. Maybe the DVLA made a mistake.
  20. You'll have to get those pics, even if it hasn't been modded much, buyers still like to see engine, interior and exterior shots. I know someone who might be interested!
  21. Generally I think so, blaming it on racism is wrong! They want results, don't forget they've got a job to do. It's difficult to comment on individual cases though, there are racists in all walks of life unfortunately.
  22. When Oxygen sensors become faulty they richen the mixture up to prevent damage to the engine. The car should still run okay, mine did. Infact it ran great with a faulty oxgen sensor, didn't pass the mot though. Think I would be looking at the ignition side, plugs and coil packs etc.
  23. Have you tried doing a diagnostic check?
