Assistants in a shop who say "Thankyou" because they've been told by the boss to be polite . They definately don't mean it and you can tell! Most pakis where I live are like this, they drop the change in your hand for the fear of touching you. There are acceptions though, the bloke who's got the paper shop is great.

Anyone else hava a fear of flying - any tips to remedy?

I went to Florida a couple of years ago, the flight over to Washington was uneventful. But the flight approaching Florida was scary We had some turbulence which you get used to, then all of a sudden the plane plummeted just like a roller coaster. We must've hit an air pocket, women and children were screaming! -
I'm going to be spraying some 2 pack lacquer shortly. Are there any face masks other than the air fed ones that will stop me breathing in the toxic isocyanates. I emailed Moldex,they don't do one. Thanks

I didn't think it would be that much to service especially as the McLaren has a V12 bmw lump.

I just bought one yesterday. On mine there's a plastic cover ( where the on/off switch and reset switch are located). If you remove the cover there's an adjustment valve underneath , this is used to adjust the max pressure that it will reach before the motor cuts out. I would experiment with adjusting this, but I would switch it off manually if it gets too high. On the one I got it was anti-clockwise to lower the cut out pressure.

It depends on what headlights you've got on the car. J spec or J spec facelift or UK spec. Take a bulb out and have a look.

Disconnect the negative or earth. You need either a new battery or a new alarm, unless you've got something else connected which is draining the battery so quickly. I replaced my battery last year, I can leave the car standing for at least 3 weeks and it still starts great.

I was looking for a car with plenty of power, almost got a BMW 540. I can't think of any alternatives at all for 14-15K, plenty of other fast cars but I don't like the look of them at all.

Red! I don't like a black bonnet on any colour car other than a black one. They look like you've had a little accident, replaced the bonnet but couldn't afford to get it painted. The ones who voted for carbon have no taste at all! LOL
