  1. Yes, I do understand this when it comes to alternators/starter motors etc. "Refurbished" is normally the word to use. The reason I asked was that the ones in the pic don't look like UK calipers!
  2. Remanufactured? What exactly are remanufactured Toyota parts then?
  3. Strange! I've considered the conspiracy theory, but it would be impossible to arrange something like that and keep it secret. The result of them being found out would have a greater impact than the result of 9-11 itself.
  4. Hello! The stock wheels have an offset of 50mm. Front wheel width for a NA car - 8" - 8.5" Rear wheel width 9" - 9.5" It depends on what width tyres you want but the smaller sizes are fine for the NA car.
  5. It happens when you start to drive off? I think you'll just have to have a look yourself. Jack the car up and spin the wheels by hand, are there any rubbing marks? Get someone else to move forward slowly while you're having a look.
  6. I need a right hand oem side skirt, must be in good condition with no damage . Thanks
  7. If he described it as being something it wasn't then he is at fault. It doesn't matter if he knew it was a NA box or not, Ignorance is no excuse. Any decent person would give you a full refund. Someone like this should be named and then banned, we don't need people like this on here.
  8. High mileage, but it does look very nice and at that price!
  9. Don't make it public just yet. Have you sent him a pm, is he reading them and not responding?(You can tell if they've been read or not)
  10. They use reliable delivery companies , they have a contract with them and get cheap prices like any other company who sends large amounts of mail. They pass on the discount to you.
  11. Try these, very good and cheap. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/parcelsdirect2u
  12. The stock traction control can be so dangerous when it takes nearly all your power away unexpectedly just when you need it. If I had to start all over again it would be the first thing I would buy for the car.
  13. Mine too. It turned freely a few turns and then it just stopped and wouldn't move at all. I replaced the fuel pipe running to the rear, the parts bloke at Toyota said it was common on Carina's. Some of them were over tightened in the factory resulting in the male union opening up in the fuel filter making them very difficult or impossible to remove.

    Paint colour.

Local motor factor near Newcastle. I bought the base coat which requires a lacquer aswell . Got some mixed at Halfords also , it was far too bright.

    Paint colour.

Not quite, the red on the Supra is noticeably darker. It's not easy getting a good match , if you're wanting to know the name of the colour you must be wanting to get an aerosol of the shelf. I'm not sure how good a match it will be though. Even if you go to a paint supplier and give them the paint code they'll have at leat two variants and they're not guaranteed to match either. I finally found a supplier that could supply paint that's very close to the original, it wasn't cheap though.
  17. No problem. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=41927 The oil will be coming from the cylinder head cover gaskets ,this isn't a problem unless it's excessive. It's very common to get a little oil leaking out.
  18. They don't look too bad, but they do look just a little old . I replace mine every 3-4k regardless, the ones Matt Harwood mentioned are only about £10.50 a set at Partco. At that price it's good practice to replace them regularly. They're good for the BPU car too.
  19. It'll make you appreciate the Supra even more .
  20. You might have got some by now, I get mine from my local car accessory shop. Not sure about Halfords.
  21. I'm not sure which way the gasket goes - I cannot remember, you can dispense with it. Just use some exhaust assembly paste between the joints to give you a good seal.
  22. Part of his job. Helpful to me too when I installed mine.
  23. Good news, what a relief it is.
  24. A cheap one, it's all I need. 256MB ATI CONNECT3D RADEON 9550 I didn't know that was possible, cheers.
