  1. The Toyota parts bloke on Suprforums - Curt Aigner says that the number on a part occasionally doesn't indicate the correct part number.
  2. The number on mine is 90910 - 12126 - ? , there is a number/letter at the end that I cannot read. I found the picture below on here.
  3. I'm doing it this way at the moment as I'm fitting new stainless lines, I had to replace a couple of the pistons and new seals etc so I thought I may aswell paint them the best way I could. I have a basic shot blasting cabinet, I painted the caliper yesterday with 2 pack base coat and laquer and the finish is superb. There's a bloke over on Supraforums who's been doing it this way for years so I know the paint doesn't deteriorate.
  4. There are two. I'm not sure if the orientation is correct as sometimes they're different on left hand drive cars.
  5. You could always paint them in situ by just removing the brake disc to give you better access for cleaning etc and then bolt the caliper back up in position. I did it this way the first time with very good results.
  6. The engine will feel very hot on a day like today. The main warning triangle lights up when the ECU detects a fault, are there any other warning lights coming on at the same time? The most common reason for the warning light to come on is low brake fluid, the sensor is very sensitive, even if it is just below the full mark it can come on. Try topping it up and see if that cures it. I would do an ecu reset, remove EFI fuse number 1 for 30s or more.
  7. Have you tried doing a search on here, it took me 40 seconds to find?
  8. I hope so, it's much easier and clearer that way. The people who do swear are in a minority so why should they be allowed to spoil it for the rest of us! It's fair enough giving them one or two warnings before they get some sort of ban.
  9. Spartacus Blood And Sand season 1 - highly recommended. Sex, violence and a good plot.
  10. I can swear just like anyone else in private but I won't do it in public. Wouldn't it be much better to ban swearing altogether with a zero tolerance approach, giving the offenders firstly a warning then a permanent ban? The members on here that are the most knowledgeble, contribute the most in a positive way to the forum and who I have respect for just don't swear at all. I fail to understand why some people think it's acceptable to use a swear word with a few of the letters replaced with symbols, acronyms too. It just gives them a licence to swear on here whenever they like.
  11. Almost any digital multimeter will do for measuring voltage and resistance, you don't really need to spend more than £10 if you're hardly going to use it. The ones that have an audible continuity feature are useful. £7 delivered The one I bought years ago for £5 still works pefectly, I've got a more expensive one too as I use it a lot.
  12. Very good advice- long reach and low is very important for the Supra. It wouldn't even cross my mind to get anything more than a 2 tonne jack, they would lift up much more than that in practice as they design them that way using factors of safety (FoS) etc.
  13. I also bought my Volk GTC's from mvp motorsports.
  14. I have 19", same width wheels at 8.5" and 9.5", same tyre sizes as those above. Only the offsets differ a little. Front offset 39mm , the tyre/wheel could do with coming out a further 8mm or so. Rear offset 37mm , the tyre/wheel is a good fit in the arch.
  15. A little cheaper than the post office You can send items using your local shop, if the recipient collects from their local shop it's a little cheaper aswell.
  16. Far better to buy a car like that in my opinion than one that's been messed around by a person who doesn't have a clue what they're doing. (you can do that when you buy it)
  17. If I'm not sure how to spell a particular word I do a very quick check. I use Google as my home page, so I open a new window and make an attempt in spelling it correctly and click "search". If you've got it wrong it will say "did you mean ------" . You could be way out in your attempt at spelling but it nearly always recognises what you're after and it literally just takes a few seconds to do.
