A colour coded one would be better and would make the car look lower and more original instead of the bought at Halfords and stuck on look. Your attention is focused too much on it, just doesn't look right. It looks like carbon fibre just for the sake of it.

Whether you have 17", 18" or 19" wheels you should have more or less the same tyre diameter. As you increase the wheel diameter the sidewall height is reduced. The tyre/wheel width and offset is the real issue.

The lower arm has two bolts, the top has one. The bolts highlighted in the diagram are for the lower nearside front arm.

The ones with the fruit and nuts are really nice. I think you get 50% free now.

Brake dust guards - do they help with directing air to the brakes?

I'm sure they're there to keep the dirt and water that you get under the car from reaching the brakes. -

We did a lot of researching 8 months ago. The Panasonic TH42PV500 was our final choice - £1400 or less now - 37". But we decided to wait a few years until there's more HD channels available and bought a £500 CRT for now.

I live near Newcastle but with my Dads Mondeo he gets 50 mpg. I'm sure it will be worthwhile for peace of mind.

Having nightmares already! I thought about going to the local Aston/Porsche dealer and asking them who they use, I don't expect them to be cheap though. I might get a price from Ibrar on here, a long way to travel but it shouldn't cost much diesel. Probably worth it when I think how much I paid for the wheels, definately dob't want a cowboy fitting them.

I was thinking about taking some of the cardboard packaging , it's a little worrying when you've spent a fair bit of cash on them.

Just got my wheels , Volk GTC's 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 Got them from Dusty at MVP, highly recommended. Any recommendations for someone in the North East to get the tyres fitted? I don't mind travelling a liitle way. Obviously I want a good price but just as important I need someone who won't scratch them either and will fit them with care. With the Volks the tyres should be fitted from the rear only with the front face downwards , can most places do this okay? Thanks

You need to know the percentage loss between the engine and hubs to do that. They can just estimate this ,there is no exact figure. The one at the fly is higher because you'll lose energy through the gearbox /diff etc.
