This is also the case when a glowplug stops working. The heat is only built up sufficiently when you've tried to start it many times. I hope he doesn't charge for the starter and just fit a glowplug. But when a glowplug isn't working you shouldn't hear any unusual sounds when trying to start the car.

Use a little common sense. I would have to look at them first as I haven't removed them before on mine. You'll save a fair bit painting them yourself I would think.

The exhaust might be touching something it shouldn't, I would get underneath and have a look while it's warming up.

I used the spray paint you use on pot belly stoves, a nice dull black. You don't want that part of the disc shiny.

Normally I have no problem staying logged in on this site when using my desktop pc. But I decided to log in to site on the laptop and I also ticked the "remember me" box, this meant I had to log in every time I accessed the forum on my desktop pc. But I've now logged out on the laptop. I log in on the desktop pc and tick the remember me box . But it doesn't remember me and I have to enter my username and password everytime which is annoying. I haven't messed with any other settings. What am I doing wrong?

That would be good, means I could convert the fog light to an indicator and get rid of the separate indicator/sidelight unit which would modernise the front end and maybe increase airflow to the SMIC.

It totally depends on what offset wheels you have.

The wheels I had fitted were crap anyway, glad to get rid of them.

From my experience if you put 5mm spacers over the existing studs you need to check your stud length. I had 4mm spacers on the rear which only gave me about 5mm of thread held by the wheel nuts! That's why I fitted longer studs. It will of course depend on the wheel you have fitted and how much aluminium you have between the nut seat and the face of the wheel which bolts to the hub.

I'm sure if you went to a motor factors or good accessory shop you would be able to get some boots the corrrect size. That's what I'm doing next time. It ridiculous having to spend so much on a complete new arm.
