  1. Condensation on the pipe is normal, it shouldn't produce enough water for a puddle. Best to keep an eye on it incase you do have a leak.
  2. Just switched to Sky, same price as Elephant - approx £740 But an agreed value and like for like on mods was what attracted me.

    Nice

Nice car, but that price is ridiculous.

My brother recently owned a manual 530D Sport. Fast at overtaking with loads of torque, he got it remapped to get a little more . Solid and very well built, no rattles and the ride was great. It doesn't compare to the Supra though in terms of looks and performance.
  5. These are handy http://www.machinemart.co.uk/product.asp?p=040212625 Only buy and use the torque wrench for tightening them up.

    Fantastic

They can cause some damage. I think they need some bigger signs.
  7. Cheers, just wanted to make sure.
  8. I'm with Elephant at the moment, I'm going to give Sky a ring later. Agreed value and like for like on mods is the only way to go. Would it be aftermarket exhaust - no mention of decat pipes? I didn't think I should mention decat pipes as they produce illegal emissions. Anyone?
  9. If I'm running a BPU setup what exactly do I declare for the insurance, I want to make sure I get it right. Would it be aftermarket exhaust - no mention of decat pipes. And boost gauge. Anything else? Cheers
  10. My insurance renewal is due this week, is it possible to get expensive items such as wheels insured for an agreed value? Just fiited my new Volks recently, worth about £2500. I'm going to give Sky a ring tomorrow. Anyone know if this is possible and any ideas of cost, will other insurance companies do this too. Thanks
  11. I'm 300 miles away, there must be someone closer.
  12. Hi There's no reason at all why you couldn't see it or take it for a test drive before you hand the money over. Even if I won one on Ebay that wouldn't make any difference at all. Traders will be more expensive without a doubt.
  13. What do you all want a membership pack for then?
  14. Looks like he's just got the nearside one, not the offside .
  15. You cannot buy just the balljoint. It has to be the complete arm on the Supra.
  16. Check the new radio has an electric aerial output, It should go to the blue wire on the Supra harness. A proper adapter harness should make the connection from the radio to the car wiring for you.
  17. You do need a replacement suspension arm. Not difficult to replace if you're handy with a spanner and have the tools - ball joint separator , socket set , torque wrench etc.
  18. I've just used a gazebo to paint my skirts in, it had mesh sides to stop the insects and other objects. I got a bargain compressor off Ebay , £100. At Machine Mart it costs over £300. Also bought a new Devilbiss GTI gun. I did the spraying last Saturday, the finish is fantastic. Very shiny and no orange peel. I used a quick thinner because of the colder weather. Red base coat followed by the 2 pack lacquer. Are you using any masks to stop paint inhilation?
  19. I've got a red car too. I tried numerous places before I got a good match. I hit lucky at the fifth place , the paint was more expensive but definately worth it.
  20. I used to have one on my van, 2.8 litre diesel. The diesel engine would take quite a while to warm up when it was really cold outside. So I fitted a Kenlowe heater, I used to leave it switched on for about 40 minutes before I went out. It definately made a difference but it wouldn't get near normal operating temps but all engines are different in that respect. Plugging it in at night and using a timer to switch it on would be a good idea. Still better having one than not!
  21. The toothed plastic thing that runs up inside to push it up is probably broken, very common. Approx £30 for a new mast.
