  1. I've never had a car which you check the engine oil level when hot! It's got to be cold.
  2. 58.5 tonne, that's heavy. I don't think anything will change, we've got no choice really in replacing an old system with a new one.
  3. You've only got the option of electronic or mechanical for the boost gauge, the electronic ones are better as they have a facility for recording peak values . Air/Fuel gauges are generally prefered before fitting an EGT gauge. Oil temp gauges are useful as you'll know when the car has warmed up properly. A boost gauge is mandatory really. Not particularly difficult to fit, like anything else it depends on how competent you are .
  4. If didn't all have excessively over powered cars then we wouldn't really be bothered would we?
  5. It fits in your back pocket nice though! PAC - port authorisation code , they're obliged to give you it if you ask (your existing network provider). Just start a contract with a new network , get your phone with your new number etc. Then give them your PAC and they'll arrange a date to assign your old number to your new phone. I had to wait one week.

Halfords and Maplins sell standard relays.
  10. Idiots, they should realise that overspray gets everywhere.
  11. The best colour car to put one on.
  12. I had to remove them on mine, don't know if the facelift is different.
  13. Best to make a note of the position of the needles before you remove them , the fuel gauge , tick over speed etc.
  14. A Shotgun! My brothers got a W reg 1.25 Fiesta, cheap and reliable. What about a Corolla?

Hello A very nice smart looking car!
  16. Some on here have bought the larger clamp from Toyota. I was thinking about having a look at the newish cars at the local salvage yard.
  17. LOL £15 for the colour ink too, very good value.
  18. Are you thinking of getting them from anywhere in particular, I recently got some 19" Volk's from Dusty at MVP Motorsports.
  19. Click with the left button first though so it turns blue before you copy and paste, this ensures that you copy the whole thing. Copy and then paste it below the text in your post.
  20. M10 about 40mm, you'll need 4. The manifold has 3 studs which remain in place, undo the 3 nuts and re-use them. I think the nuts were M10 too.
  21. The part number changes in May 96, don't know what the difference is? He's got a 98 car.
  22. Centre section, NA , post May 1996 17420-46260
