To get the right colour you can get paint in 2 basic forms, a single stage where you just apply the colour or a basecoat and a clear lacquer. You don't just apply lacquers to metallics, they're used on solid colours too. Cellulose paint isn't that durable and you'll have to polish it more often, but it's fairly safe to spray with a decent mask.

I don't know if the facelift ones are different, but I had to remove mine. They won't slip over the needles .

But you aren't aware of it, but it can change gear mid bend. I agree you'll have to drive like an idiot to lose it though.

I'm not talking about stamping on the accelerator and dropping down a gear. It still can change gear when cornering , you could be on the threshold of 2nd gear and only increase speed a little and it would change gear to 3rd, just the same as it would when driving in a straight line.

You just have to accelerate a little for it to change gear? I haven't driven an auto Supra but plenty of other auto cars though. The point I'm making is that with an auto if you have it in "drive" you don't have full control to keep it in one gear, but with a manual car you do.

Just that it's not good practice to change gear while you're going around sharp bends as it can unsettle the balance of a car . Is this possible with an auto Supra?

In May 1996 the Supra's were facelifted , they have different rear lights aswell as other things. They have twin illuminated lights on each side.

I had this exact problem too, what a pain in the arse. I got it working eventually but I don't know exactly how. You've got to make sure the needle spindle isn't catching, I pulled off and fitted the needle loads of times until it worked correctly. Just trial and error really, fitting it with the ignition on and off.

No, you can reach through . I remember CW saying you need a long dril and tap. Careful that the metal cutting don't stay in the manifold and go through the turbo.

On the EPC there's a few part no's for the seats and I cannot tell which is which. I've got black leather recaro's .
