  1. I don't know how you can say such things , anyone would think you were there standing by the side of the road watching this happen. What abut the witnesses who said the biker was going fast. Of course you shouldn't step out infront of a moving vehicle but without knowing the facts it's impossible to put all of the blame on anyone's shoulders.
  2. Thanks Chris Not cheap but they do look very nice. Did you have to wait very long after ordering it?

    Lexus Air Filter

Oil? They're a little bit better than the stock one. Get one at your local Lexus dealer, I bought 5. 90915-20004 £10.42 each Toyota probably sell them too, they are in a Toyota box. They've been discontinued in the States, fellow Supra owners have been buying as many as they can before the local dealers run out.
  4. Very dangerous , I would get them changed! When I got my car it had 245's on 8" rims. When I put it up on the ramps and had a look underneath I could see significant splits which ran around the inside sidewall of the front tyres. They were only visible when the weight was on them, the splits closed up when you took the wheel off to have a look. You've also got less sidewall on an 19" tyre compared to the 18's that I had which makes it even worse.
  5. 245's minimum , ideally 255's for a stock car On a 9" to 9.5" rim really
  6. Too narrow at 7.5", especially on the rear.
  7. On my car Drivers footwell fuse box , the blue connector at the very top left. The green wire is normally at 12v, it goes to 0v when the door is opened. cookci, that website you found in the States, well the wire colours don't match the ones that I used when I installed my alarm. My alarm works perfectly.
  8. If you wash the car immediately after driving it you will get a little steam coming off , especially so if you've been braking from higher speeds. The MOT bloke should've spotted a problem with the brakes .
  9. Wear the ring and just put the box in your luggage if you want to keep it , or throw it away. Put the receipt in you pocket or send it home in an envelope.
  10. You're bringing it home yourself or it's getting sent in the post?
  11. This is the nearest I can find , different orientation though -Toyota Corona?
  12. The car that was featured in the Autoexpress magazine was nice. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/203557/son_of_supra_will_be_a_hybrid.html
  13. Have you got UK brakes, I'm surprised know one has mentioned that. It's very much dependent on wheel design too , not just offsets.
  14. Hi and welcome Supra model info and what to look for
  15. That's a diffcult one. It sometimes helps to have a passenger in the car to stick their head out of the window or to sit in the boot with the tailgate open when taking a test drive on a quiet industrial estate.

    thor FCD's

The Thor FCD's are very popular for a good reason, they work with no problems at all. That's why I got one.
  17. That person making that noise was so irritating I had to stop it.
  18. There doesn't appear to be any for sale on their website , just the one for the upper glovebox.
  19. Cheers I'm not sure if there are any 52mm a pillar gauge pods that are specific to the Supra. I might have to make one.
  20. I could do this for you too, I live in the North East of England and could pick the part up if it wasn't too far and the seller didn't mind. Like Gamer said about the postage, not sure of the cost. Or you could arrange the pick up, whatever is best really. Edit: I've just found out he's based in Middlesbrough , a little too far to travel really. I'm more than happy to get it sent in the post , no need for the £25 either.
  21. I'm just wondering if an a pillar gauge fitted with 2 - 52mm white faced gauges are a little distracting when you're driving the car? I'm not sure if most of the pillar pods are for the 60mm gauges. The reason I ask is that I'm not sure to whether to mount them there if I can find a decent pod or remove the radio which I hardly use and mount them in that location.
  22. Is this the one? The main housing in the 1st pic bolts onto the side of the rear water pump housing. - see the 2nd pic. The gasket in the pic is 16325-63011

    Brake Pads

It's not necessary unless there isn't much left on them.
