  1. Adjustment on both together , they're fixed on the same bracket inside the headlight.
  2. A boost controller must be one of the most popular purchases for the Supra. I asked a question in the technical section but have had very few responses so I'm assuming knowone really understands how they work. The more expensive ones allow you to adjust the Gain and also allow you to map the boost settings against speed. Can someone quantify the advantage to be had by being able to adjust them in the manor listed above. I was thinking about getting the AEM Tru Boost controller but you cannot make the two adjustments listed above. Is it worth spending the extra money to get one that has these functions? Thanks
  3. Thanks Anyone else care to comment please.
  4. More than likely the cable has just snapped, I fixed mine recently.
  5. Here's the car as advertised by Paul Whiffin http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?p=1318866#post1318866 It's a turbo timer, not sure of the make.
  6. The results of going up the curved wall could've been just as bad. I had to laugh though. LOL
  7. I'm thinking about getting an electronic boost controller, I've searched 20 pages on here without finding the answers I need. The more expensive ones allow you to adjust the Gain and also allow you to map the boost settings against speed. I understand that varying the gain will allow you to spool quicker. Can someone quantify the advantage to be had by being able to do this. I was thinking about getting the AEM Tru Boost controller but you cannot make the two adjustments listed above. Is it worth spending the extra money to get one that has these functions? Thanks

  9. Did you stop off at the Esso petrol station at the end of York Av on Saturday?
  10. That's not very community spirited, personally I would take it as a nice compliment and I would be more than happy to help anyone if they wanted to do the same.
  11. I would go for a newer car, a Honda S2000.
  12. Oil temp, I'm getting 95-100 Celsius, the proble is fitted in a sandwich plate.
  13. Only kidding, sorry. It was only £19.82
  14. I think it's better on the ramps, you need a little more space to manouevre the thing into place. The pipe was around £20!
  15. I changed the one that runs to the filter, they do come preformed. You just have to remove the long plastic cage thing that protects them and the pipe will unclip. I had the car up on ramps, not difficult at all.
  16. It doesn't, still 12v. I used the power supply from the radio, everything is there including the illumination wire.
  17. Dunno, I've got a couple of Defi's with a controller. Try plugging the sensor cable into the controller, it won't matter that the sensor isn't fitted on the engine.
  18. LOL I've got a bleed valve fitted , they're a right pain in the arse to adjust to a set max boost. Trying to get mine to go from 1.0 bar to 1.2 bar this morning took many attempts, you'll also find when the outside temp changes you'll be doing this all over again.
  19. Good advice, it's always the best place to look.
  20. £4.50 for a pie! I bet they didn't have any vegie ones.
  21. Go for the quality look of all black leather , no two tone for me.
  22. You certainly can do this, definately worth it for the lovely sound.
  23. Personally I would fit eveything, then refit the cats in 3 months.
