  1. I bought some normal size ones from Maplins to replace the small ones, they bolted on. I think I had to bend the positive terminal over . I car salvage yard would give you the best choice really.
  2. Any good, I used a sandwich plate. http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/Product-25.aspx
  3. It's possible. You could test it like I did. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=59939&highlight=motorbike
  4. You can bend the horizontal bar hanger up a little , you need to do this in the vice really. I never scrape the exhaust .
  5. What's wrong with a simple toaster?
  6. Your local Toyota garage should be able to tell you without any doubt which one you need.
  7. Very very nice! You can't beat Toyota skirts , bumper etc.
  8. Too late, I've sorted it. Made myself a tool.
  9. I'm doing the clutch on the van. The release bearing is the type which pulls the fingers of the pressure plate when the clutch is depressed. How do I release the fork from the bearing in order to remove the gearbox, I cannot see a way of releasing the bearing from the pressure plate. I was thinking you would have to slide out the fork pivoting shaft, there's a plastic cover on the back of the gearbox in this location and I'm assuming you have to remove this in order to pull out the shaft. But this plastic cover is very difficult to get to and I cannot pull the thing off. Any help appreciated.
  10. I bought some creatine from myprotein , this time the cee stuff. It definately works.
  11. I think I'll have to have a drive around and see what I can find , some of the local places are expensive. I wished I had ordered one at the start of the week.
  12. Looks like they only go upto 46mm.
  13. I need to undo the hub nuts on my van, the tightening torque is 360 ftlb. Does anyone know where I can get a breaker bar from tommorrow, I would prefer a 3/4" drive? I'm not sure if a 1/2" one would be up to the job. Do Halfords just sell the 1/2" one? Thanks
  14. I think most decent spray guns require about 7-8 cubic feet per minute -cfm. I bought a Devilbiss GTI gun like this one , I've only done one of my skirts so far but I got an exceptional finish. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DEVILBISS-GTI-110-1-4-SPRAYGUN-CRAZY-BARGAIN-PRICE_W0QQitemZ300102050400QQihZ020QQcategoryZ30923QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I bought a good compressor off ebay for £100 , over £328 at machine mart now - just like new, it's 50 litre, 3 horsepower and it works great.
  15. Not your average digger driver! http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=381590&f=141&h=0
  16. Yes, UK brakes. Silver on the inside.
  17. I've just done the front discs and pads on the van. The nearside was stuck on solid with corrosion and I had to chop it off with the angle grinder. I'm doing the clutch at the weekend, the Peugeot garage offered to do it for £639! Costing me about £260 for dealer parts.
  18. It's always nice to see young kids with a big smile on their face. Nice car too, flash wheels!
  19. Very true. Why pay someone else silly prices when you can do it youself.
  20. Very true! It's sad when any animal dies, the fox and Chris's animals!
  21. LOL I didn't mean to blame you for my score disappearing , I can now see my all time high score. It seams a bit unfair that you can have the all time highest score and yet someone with a lower score gets an acknowledgement next to their username in all their posts and I don't!
  22. I'm not sure. Get yourself a universal one and you'll be able to remove all the different sizes of oil filter.
