  1. Very true, this applies to many other things too.
  2. Loosen everything then take them off.
  3. Yes, just bolt them back on. The 17's should give you the best handling if you've got stock suspension as the car was designed for these. Personally I'm very happy with my 19's, the reas suspension on mine makes the ride sporty but comfortable.
  4. I've had mine for 8 months, it's been fine and does what it's supposed to do.
  5. This is the part number for the right hand blanking plate on the facelift car: 55538-14030 Homer, according to my EPC , 55537-14020 is the left hand one for a pre-facelift. Looks like the middle and right are the same and the left one is different.
  6. I ordered one for my facelift car, when it came it was a black one like the pre-facelift cars . The parts bloke said you couldn't get the facelift ones which are grey. Don't know if he was talking rubbish or what.
  7. I could get the part number but I'm not sure which ones you mean. I'm sure the part numbers have been posted before for the ones in the bumper mouth and also the ones at the top under the bonnet. A search will reveal all.
  8. He probably wouldn't know what to do with it anyhow.
  9. If you're removing the rear disc you'll more than likely need to move in the shoes using the handbrake adjuster.
  10. Insulation tape isn't that good for outdoor stuff. Self amalgamating tape is what you need. Makes sense.
  11. Michael told us all about them in a previous thread.
  12. Do you watch the Coast programme on a Sunday night? It's very good. They said it was 7000 odd miles long.
  13. The stuff that seals them is a black mastic type substance. It should soften with a heat gun too. You need to use a screwdriver to help pry the lens away. It is of course possible that they've been opened up previously and sealed with silicone.
  14. I got my 52mm pod from this place that ChrisR recommended. There aren't any fixings supplied apart from some velcro, I managed okay though. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showpost.php?p=1264896&postcount=20
  15. Not sure, I would just use my own judgement. If you look in the workshop manual, the one that includes the info on the clutch, gearbox etc. page IN-44 , it lists specified torque for standard bolts. This will give you some idea.
  16. Lovely sound. Great acceleration with very little wheel spin.
  17. Interesting to see how the story develops.
  18. Nice to hear that the little thing is okay.
  19. Not sure if these are the owners manual or the installation one. £2.50 , maybe worth sending an email to ask. http://www.autoelectronics.freeserve.co.uk/manuals_page.htm
  20. You would think so. Will the insurance company check for previous convictions?
  21. Can't you tell them about the conviction and have the accident the following day, or were the Police involved?
  22. Loads of you have said that they have "Loads-a-Money". (Harry Enfield) Some of you will be too young to remember! Do they? Their possesions including property, jewellery and paintings etc, aren't they owned by the people?
