  1. Here's some cheap aluminium mesh, don't know what it's like. Was £14.97, now £3.74 http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-1044.aspx
  2. Personally I would fix the faults myself, but if you have to pay someone else I suspect that it won't be cheap. How would you sell a car that needed valve stem oil seals, would you put this in the advert or tell a prospective buyer on the phone? I wouldn't want to waste their time and tell them when they came to look.
  3. It will go up a little when it gets cold in the winter. The easiest way is to fit an electronic boost controller and it will increase the boost you've got to 1.2bar. The cheapest way is to fit a bleed valve but you'll have to adjust iit manually.
  4. Hello You should be able to get a post May 96 car for that amount, the facelift car has newer lights (front and rear) and many other differences too - it's more desirable. (It also has three separate dials grouped together for water temp, fuel and boost pressure) . An Auto Tiptronic gearbox version. The most common performance enhancement is Basic Performance Upgrade , this involves raising the boost pressure from 0.8bar to 1.2bar to make it much more responsive with a lot more power. This will obviously reduce the life of various components on the car but it really depends on how it's driven by the owner. So you can spot a bpu car, bpu involves fitting an aftermarket free flowing exhaust, removing the catalysts and replacing them with straight through pipes , boost gauge , colder plugs, upgrated fuel pump and a fuel cut defender . The total cost £800 min. For this reason personally I would only buy a car that's been modified cosmetically , this is the decision you have to make. The import turbo cars are very reliable even after they've been modified if they're looked after. De-restricting the car so it can go faster costs around £80 for the little box. Also, learn how to spot a facelift car. Be wary of the fact that the DVLA have been known to give incorrect registration plates to import cars , making the car appear much newer than it actually is. what bumper ?

I agree. Why can't they design one that suits the shape of the car, the velside sharknose one is horrendous.

    caliper paint

Some fairly coarse wet and dry will do the trick.
  7. Some of the wheel cleaners are mildly acidic, it needs to be rinced off thoroughly with water before it eats too far into the paint. Too late if it's dried on I would think.
  8. That's a difficult one. They may have used the spray intended for the wheels by mistake.
  9. Nice pooch and very considerate of you to do this.
  10. I'm not sure if I'm right in thinking that some may include the bulbs.
  11. It's obviously going to me much harder looking for evidence as the chances of it being contaminated are much greater because of the location. Once they re-open the road they cannot go back like they can with most other murder scenes.

    what do you think

    Sounds like it's knackered.
  13. Which auxiliaries? Try the windows as they require a fair bit of power and a low battery would show up with the windows struggling to move. Did you charge up the new battery before you fitted it in the car?
  14. 15 minutes is more than sufficient time between coats. You are spraying it on?
  15. Very nice, lovely wheels too. You just need the facelift rear lights.
  16. The rust appears very quickly on new discs.
  17. LOL Didn't you do science at school?
  18. I used to have that problem ,for a wet shave I've been using these for years . http://www.wilkinsonsword.com/index.php?id=1310
  19. Just found this from UIG who works for Sky.
  20. If I was to get another car as a runaround is it possible to get a mirrored NCB that I've built up on the Supra that I can use on another car? Or would I have to start at 0 NCB Thanks
  21. As far as I know there's never been any tests done to establish the efficiency of FMIC's or SMIC's.
  22. It does, but I don't think this colour was available on a M reg car.
  23. I don't understand what you mean. I've never heard of a paint code for wheels coming from chassis/frame numbers etc.
