  1. I found this on the St Albans Council website.
  2. What a horrible looking car. 800,000 bollox.
  3. Sounds like a nice exhaust. I've had the Nur Spec R fitted for a few years now, I'm finding the noise a little tiresome and I'm starting to leave the baffle in more often than not.
  4. There's not many body kits out there that I like. But If I had the money then mine would be done similar to this one, this has got the Ridox front - correct me if I'm wrong. Here's a good link I found yesterday for body kits etc. Click here.
  5. There's one in Newburn, I recall a member on here saying that he has used it. Andy Urwin Motor Engineering The Old Glass Works Business Units, Lemington, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear NE15 8SX 0191 2670999 This is his new address, it might be worth giving him a ring to check that he still does this.
  6. No apology necessary. I think he just did it for the camera, he gives his own cars some stick too. But you're right that it was totally irresponsible doing it to this car. On the TV he appears to be quite a decent and considerate guy.
  7. And it's okay if you say so?
  8. Have you ever watched Monster Garage? Jesse James is a great character. What he did with the Bentley is no worse than what they do on Fifth Gear and Top Gear.
  9. I did mine with some bike cables from Halfords. You will have to make the cables to a specific length which means you have to fit a new termination on the end after cutting it to length. I had some terminations made on a lathe and I used a small grub screw to hold them tight on the cable. You can buy terminations which are crimped onto the cables if you do a search on google. I'm not sure how well they'll hold if you don't crimp them with the correct tool which isn't cheap.
  10. Thanks, it's about time the new series started.
  11. Lovely looking pooch.
  12. Yep, my mistake. I'm not sure how they could do this with design information they received as it would be used on both cars. They did receive information on when Raikonnen would do some pit stops though. I feel sorry for Ron Dennis. I'm looking forward to hearing more tomorrow during qualifying.
  13. That's definately speeded up.
  14. Mike Couglan, McLarens chief designer was in possession of a 600 page document received from Ferrari's Nigel Stepney. Pedro de la Rosa was also receiving Ferrari design data from their chief designer Nigel Stepney , Alonso was aware of this and had communications with de La Rosa. It looks like Ron Dennis was totally unaware of what was happening behind his back.
  15. It was introduced on the Jap spec Supra in Sept 97.
  16. You should really fit a restrictor ring do give you somewhere in the region of 1.0 bar and then increase it up to 1.2 bar with a boost controller. If you fit a 1.2 bar restrictor ring and if the boost goes slightly higher you cannot reduce it with a boost controller. A boost controller can be only used to increase boost and not decrease it. You'll need to fit a boost gauge too if you haven't already got one, so you'll be able to keep a check on boost levels. Yes. 60 bhp? It's debatable. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=41927 I use NGK - BKR7E (6097) - gap 0.7mm , cheap and they work. You can buy more expensive ones too, again it's debatable which ones are best. Yes, the Walbro 342. The 2.5" ones are all you need.
  17. Interesting quote from the press conference.
  18. Am I the only one who's mentioned that the graphs are for BPU + and BPU ++.? Was the extra "+" achieved by installing the front mount intercooler? Not a very good comparison really.
  19. I very much hope so. I will be interesting to see what happens now, Ron Dennis says it wasn't proven that they used anything from Ferrari in their own cars. Why did Sky cut short the press conference?
  20. merckx
