  1. No more bodies have been found at the scene of the crash on the M5 which killed seven people, police have said.
  2. The ARP studs are widely used. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?245411-Fitting-ARP-Extended-Wheel-Studs&highlight=wheel+studs
  3. http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/faqs/passports-and-visas/im-a-british-irish-citizen-do-i-need-a-passport-to-travel/
  4. Thanks for asking. I would've been interested if I hadn't already fitted the Soarer bushes, I'll see how they go.
  5. I didn't know that TRD did wishbone bushes. I wonder if they're still available?
  6. Soarer front lower arm: rear bush.. 48655 - 24050 front bush.. 48651 - 24040 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380359401788 All 4 bushes, no more for sale here though, I've just fitted the rear bushes. What a job removing the wishbone, the rear bolt was rusted solid. You cannot see the full depth of the void in the pic of the rear bush, it goes down further into the bush against the outer sleeve. Much stiffer after filling this up with the polyurethane, I used shore hardness A - 60.
  7. I've replaced the rear bush on the front lower arm with the one for the Soarer. The Soarer bush isn't supposed to be as stiff as the Supra bush, it's a interesting design with most of the rubber at one end with large voids around the diameter towards the other end. The Supra bush is much more solid, I drilled most of the rubber out before cutting the outer shell to remove it. From what I've read the Soarer bushes aren't supposed to be that durable even on the Soarer, I've stiffened mine up by filling the voids with a liquid polyurethane 2 part mix. I pressed them in using a 6" bench vice, I made one mandrel on the lathe and also used a large socket from a 3/4" set. It was extremely tight squeezing them in, I'm surprised I didn't break the vice using a 3 ft lever and I'm no weakling. I haven't got the car on the road yet as I'm painting/powder coating all the suspension components and brakes etc.
  8. I reckon that 1875kg is the maximum gross weight of the car including passengers and luggage etc. 3375kg would be the maximum train weight which includes the car (as above) and braked trailer. Therefore maximum braked trailer weight = 3375-1875 = 1500kg. The manufacturers always quote a higher figure than most organisations would recommend to tow in practice.
  9. That's what happens when you've got the best car.
  10. Any spare cash to buy yourself a dictionary? Nice Jag.
  11. Sad news. For those that didn't know, amongst many other things he used to be a professional cyclist (over 300 races).
  12. What should you have posted along with your question?
  13. I can never remember, have you seen this thread. The 9006J and 9005J makes it more confusing . http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?142251-Which-headlight-bulbs-for-JSpec-and-UK-Spec&highlight=hb3 If you look further into the thread it looks like you need 2 HB3 kits for the J spec headlights, a previous group buy looks like it confirms this.
  14. That makes sense, I'll have to remember that.
  15. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?41927-FAQ-Spark-plugs I use NGK - BKR7E (6097) - gap 0.7mm, not expensive and they work, iridium plugs are supposed to last longer but they aren't cheap
  16. Did you tell the garage that they were blinding oncoming cars or did you just ask for them to be aligned? Surely you should be able to lower their aim a little, that's what I would've done. There must be loads of cars on here with facelift lights with hid's that get through the mot.
  17. They should be locked up in a mental asylum.
  18. Why does the search on here not locate a full part number in the usual format, it used to work? For example, 58261-14010 with no spaces. You have to put a space on either side of " - " for it to work. Not difficult to do if you're aware of this but most won't be.
  19. Brakes International . When you've selected the correct caliper, just click on associated. I'm not sure if they're any cheaper than Toyota who supply seals for the L and R calipers in one packet. Looks like international brakes sell them separately, adding vat and delivery hikes it up a bit.
  20. The diameter is meaningless to most people.
  21. Making the TT exhaust on a NA car louder
  22. As far as I'm aware a TT aftermarket exhaust would be too loud on a NA, the turbo's do help to reduce noice levels.
