  1. According to the EPC all J spec cars use the same valves.
  2. It gets easier when you have to do it annually for the mot.
  3. If you had a friendly neighbour you could get them to get an extra digibox installed in their bedroom and then remove it to your house by extending the cables to give you sky too for half the cost. You could probably buy a quad LNB and Digibox and install it yourself and then phone Sky and ask them to turn on the multiroom subscription.
  4. Here's another nice VVTI, reduced to 11,500. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=124303 I wouldn't let the mileage influence your decision too much. The condition of the car and whether or not you feel that the present owner is trustworthy or not is far important for me.
  5. It looks like you have an additional sleeve fitted over the original threaded shaft. Is there a small allen key at the bottom holding it in place? Here's what it should look like: .....
  6. Are they similar to these, much better to have ones with a hexagonal head so you can use a socket wrench or spanner to tighten. Drill away. http://www.kcb.co.uk/shop/media/bolt.jpg

    failed the m.o.t

Don't forget about the illuminated switch.
  8. Very nice, lovely interior.
  9. Best to wait a few weeks to give the paint a chance to harden.
  10. Very nice, but £179,000
  11. Did you realise that the coordinates of your exact location are there too?
  12. I've never heard that mentioned before.
  13. I would think it might, read my post above.

    light bolts

They'll be more than likely loads of other parts of the car that use weight saving materials too, with all the extra gizmos you get on these expensive cars they'll do their best to save weight where they can, it all adds up.
  15. My car was standard apart from the wheels when I bought it, but it wasn't restricted. Is it common practice to unrestrict them when the speedo is converted?

    good tyres

I've got the same size wheels and the tyres are: 245/35 and 275/30 Goodyear Eagle F1, these have been replaced with Goodyear F1 Asymmetric which should be good too. http://eu.goodyear.com/uk_en/tires/repository/Eagle_F1AS/index.jsp I'm very happy with my 19's, I suppose it depends on what you want to drive like. I always take it easy around the bends on the public roads regardless of what car I'm driving.
  17. £10 a week A few years ago I had 5 numbers and won about £2300.
  18. A very comprehensive manual, definitely worth having and £55 is very cheap for what you get.

    evenin all

Hello. The UK spec car does come with big brakes, leather seats etc and other things as standard . The J spec cars can have these things too but they aren't always standard, you've just got to check each car out first to see what they have fitted as optional extras. I was fortunate to buy my J spec which had leather recaro's, big brakes etc and other nice things.

    Colour?

Stock Gunmetal or RSP, these will make the car look original and modern.
