  1. You had to see it, I was surprised at how feminine they were. It's not quite what you expect.

    Road maps?

That's very generous of him, is it being gift wrapped with a nice ribbon? Sat nav's are so cheap now. http://www.bargain-satnav.co.uk/tomtom_go/tomtom-go-gb-series.htm
  3. The standard cold water pressure washers when used with a detergent are rubbish for cleaning cars, we bought a relatively expensive Karcher - it doesn't get used. You need hot water to do it properly. I'm hoping the snow foam lance from Peter's group buy will do the trick.
  4. There's a real possibility that this could happen, you might get more than just a little dent too. I wouldn't turn them in. I've got no respect at all for anyone who decides to park in one of these bays, you never know how needy a person may be that turns up and cannot park their vehicle and for that reason alone you shouldn't do it . It's just pure selfish behaviour, of course it's your pride and joy but so can a £2000 car for someone who hasn't got much money!
  5. I wouldn't start replacing suspension components yet, it could cost a fortune by the time you've found the worn/broken part. Problems like this aren't easily diagnosed especially so on here when you haven't driven the car yourself.
  6. I haven't got any time for idiots that park in disabled bays when they shouldn't, they have little or no respect for other people. It's quite simple really, if you haven't got a disabled badge then you can't park.

    car gaint?

You didn't read my post then?
  8. The money goes to charity, if I was in charge it would be £200.
  9. Probably, just need the extra space to open the doors wider.
  10. You don't have to have a leg missing to be disabled, if you cannot walk far for whatever reason you would probably qualify to have a disabled badge. Age shouldn't come into it at all.
  11. All decent people would wait a few minutes for a normal bay to become available. I'm not lazy so I don't have a problem parking further away from the shop entrance. Paying taxes doesn't come into it at all, Asda own the land so you're parking on private property.
  12. There's very rarely any need to use fog lights as it's hardly ever foggy. The LED's on the Audi's look nice though.

    car gaint?

My brother travelled a long way to see a VW Golf at Cargiant, scratches and marks all over it. "Motorpoint" is the best car supermarket I've visited . Members of the family have bought 3 secondhand cars and one new one, all the cars were immaculate. Fords of Winsford is good too but a little expensive.
  14. Glad I'm a vegetarian (23 years). I haven't got a problem with people eating meat, but the animals have to be looked after properly and humanly killed. The thought of lambs and goats bleating away when they get get their throats cut is absolutely horrible to say the least.
  15. That will obviously depend on if you want the active spoiler to work.
  16. I'm not so sure, they might fit. The offsets, especially the front are small but then the wheel widths aren't wide at all which make the low offsets less of a concern. Try putting the wheel specs into this table (Microsoft Excel). If the seller on Ebay is selling them to fit a Supra he should guarantee fitment. ..... Supra Tyre fitment.xls
  17. Not before time. (I'm a local Newcastle fan) . I find it difficult to think of one good thing that Allardyce did in his short time at Newcastle. Playing players out of position and playing so negatively, there was no confidence in the team and it was terrible to watch.
  18. LOL Very funny. The rust is only superficial, not a problem when left for a few months.
  19. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for the new gear knob?
  20. You wouldn't have any problem at all with these sizes, 235's aren't narrow. I've just been looking at a new BMW 330, 272 BHP and it's running 225/45 front and rear. Obviously I wouldn't buy these sizes If I was buying new wheels and tyres, but with secondhand ones you don't always have a choice. When I bought my TT the previous owner had fitted 255's all round, I only had a problem with traction when I went BPU. But for the stock car they were fine.
  21. It would be much easier but I've never tried with just the front cat fitted, I wouldn't want the hastle of coming home and having to get the ramps and tools out again to refit the front cat if it did fail.
  22. Just have enough fuel on board too, a full tank is heavy.
