  1. The bruising looks a long way forward than I would normally expect from a sprained ankle. I went over on my ankle about 10 years ago which has stretched the ligaments making the joint weaker, every few years I go over on it again because of this weakness. The pain is excruciating.
  2. Wiper arms are normally fitted onto a splined shaft, so pull loose the cover where the wiper pivots, remove the nut then lever off the wiper arm. There's normally a larger nut you then have to remove. The rest is common sense, obviously the motor assembly has to be removed from the other side.
  3. I'm not sure if I would fit it in the bumper aperture as it's obviously going to interfere with the air on it's way to the radiator. If you're wanting to fix it to the mesh then put something smaller(chop up an old number plate or something similar) than the plate behind the mesh and screw into that with some self tappers. Or if you want to stick it on then attach something thin on either side of the mesh held together with some countersink screws and then stick it on with some velcro or double sided tape. Loads of different ways to do it.
  4. You can also get the mayonnaise type gunk under the oil cap if the car has done lots of short journeys when the engine doesn't get warmed up. I'm surprised that they agreed to do it so quickly and didn't tell you that they needed to investigate further before agreeing to do a labour intensive job like this.
  5. Just what I was thinking. Nice drawing.
  6. Toyota Gunmetal or RSP, in my opinion they make the car look younger.
  7. My diet recently hasn't been good, too much chocolate. I get plenty of exercise though. They say, "You Are What You Eat" .
  8. I only had a light scratch in my anodised lip. I wish I hadn't even attempted to polish it out,the result is a little dull patch.

    Train drivers

    Yes but pedestrians too.

So you're saying that a crossing isn't designed for people then? But they must get inspected, the fact that it may be a difficult task to do doesn't come into it at all.

    Train drivers

This is totally unknown. I did get my wording wrong when I said someone should be held responsible. But, it shouldn't be possible to trap a foot and someone has to be blamed for that.
  12. No we shouldn't bring it back. They should have hard labour and no privilidges, make them suffer like their victims until they die in pain. Death unless they go to hell of course is the easy way out.

That's horrible. Someone has to be held responsible, it shouldn't be possible to trap a foot like this.
  14. It does for a lot of others on here but I haven't tried yet and always refit both of the cats.
  15. Jazz1 , when you make a new post asking for some advice it's normal practice to read and respond to posts made by those that are trying to help.
  16. Whether or not you can polish it out is dependent on the material and finish on the lip of the wheel.
  17. Surely you aren't going to buy a new one, they're very cheap and readily available secondhand with quite a few owners fitting the larger ones.
  18. Hello. I've got 19's and I don't have any problems at all. I'm taking you've already looked on supraforums.com? If you want to find fellow Supra owners with wide wheels then there isn't a better place to look. When you fit larger wheels the aim is to keep the tyre diameter more or less the same as stock by reducing the sidewall height and therefore fitting 19's won't give any more problems than 18's if you make sure you select the correct offsets and tyre sizes.
  19. Beat me to it. This is for the US spec Supra: http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/racelogic_Install/index.html ECU pinouts of the J-spec and UK/US-spec Supra: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35919
  20. 7.5" on the front and rear? When I bought my car the previous owner had fitted 255's on 8" rims. The result was large cracks in the sidewall of the front tyres.

    HIDS in Jspecs

How would one stand if the car was being examined for an insurance claim and these were found to be fitted, I know the MOT testers don't appear to be bothered?
