  1. They do. I had that problem with the pipe entering the fuel filter, it would only unscrew a few turns before stopping solid.
  2. The feedback that he's received for the ones that fit the Supra appears to be good.
  3. I'm not sure about fatalities though. I do a lot of driving on country roads and I see flowers attached to trees where more often than not young people were killed, the roads are vary rarely dangerous and I can only conclude that they've been going too fast. Steve made some good points, especially this one.
  4. Did the Police actually find out what was reponsible for them losing control and having this accident, did they say that car wasn't speeding?
  5. Primarily for the acceleration. 0-70 is the best from traffic lights on a dual carriageway.
  6. Have you tried pushing a horizontal screwdriver or something similar down into the catch to check if it's working okay? Obviously there are height adjustable rubber stops on each side of the bonnet.
  7. Great pics. That's quite a collection, when do you open to visitors?
  8. I've got no idea but I'll bump it.
  9. I hope it wasn't a fictitious claim. Nice getting a £820 cheque though.
  10. Drill a little hole at the ends of the crack, maybe 4 times the width of the crack. The crack will find it harder to spread when it meets a hole as the stress is reduced.
  11. I've got carried away a couple of times while encountering a 911 and a fast Merc, the roads were almost empty at the time (always motorways and dual carriageways) Afterwards I felt terrible, the thought of being caught on camera and getting a letter through the post was very worrying to say the least. I'm much wiser now, not just for my sake but more importantly for all the other road users.
  12. Correct, that's not right!!!!! I bet you don't get it.
  13. What a great idea, I wouldn't mind at all living in one of those. Standard and next day delivery only £4.95.
  14. If the car doesn't turn over then I would suspect the starter motor like Wazz72 has already said. If you can still use the electric windows at the time then the battery get connections should be okay. You can buy kits from Toyota to refurbish the starter motor. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=51682
  15. Yes, the light colours will make the rooms look larger too. You could always have a look in a few show houses.
  16. Does the engine actually turn the engine over when it won't start?
  17. The offsets are very low, can't you get some closer to the stock wheels which are 50mm?
  18. The radio is a good one but take the power after the fuse which protects the radio.

A good explanation of what happened. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2008/mar/29/transport?gusrc=rss&feed=uknews
  20. 3 adjusters. If you turn the bottom one clockwise it will raise the headlight beams. Middle adjuster - clockwise will move headlights towards centre line of car, Adjuster nearest wing - clockwise will lower fog light. The adjusters have a fine thread, so you'll have to turn it quite a bit to see any difference.
  21. I suppose if you measured accurately the input/output ratios, this would be fairly easy to do with the gearbox off the car. You could fit a large cardboard or metal disc to each shaft to enable the rotational angle to be measured accurately. I did a search and I couldn't find anything else, one person actually said that there were no identifying numbers on them. V160 First Gear: 3.830:1 Second Gear: 2.360:1 Third Gear: 1.680:1 Fourth Gear: 1.310:1 Fifth Gear: 1:1 Sixth Gear: 0.790:1 V161 First Gear: 3.724:1 Second Gear: 2.246:1 Third Gear: 1.541:1 Fourth Gear: 1.205:1 Fifth Gear: 1:1 Sixth Gear: 0.818:1
  22. That's what I was thinking but you would've to be a right idiot to fit a metal cover like this so I'm assuming it's plastic.
