  1. Facelift headlights fitted from May 96 on Jap spec cars, they don't have side lights incorporated into them so the orange indicators which you see on pre May 96 Jap spec cars and UK cars are replaced by a unit which contains the side light and indicator.
  2. I had a look on the EPC and there're "repair wires" for other components but I couldn't see anything for the mirror.
  3. The following figures are from the workshop manual. Compression:oooo156 psi or more. Minimum pressure:oooo128 psi. Difference between each cylinder:oooo 14 psi or less.
  4. You're asking if a bonnet will suffer long term damage if it's been exposed to the rain?
  5. I cannot see anything. Age, colour, bodykit, wheels etc etc?

    Which Clutch?

Get the stock one from Steve Manley. Give him your model and frame numbers from the VIN plate and you'll get the correct one. On the EPC the part numbers change in May 96 so that's probably when the NA was fitted with the 6 speed box.
  7. Does the new wheel have an airbag?
  8. Absolutely terrifying. Even if you're not scared of heights you just need to slip once and you're dead.
  9. At first I thought your dog was a cat bed. Nice to see the two of them together.
  10. That's on the TT. Miles has got a NA. The max tyre width would be 225 on a 7.5" wheel. Whether or not that's okay is debatable. Standard sizes are: 225/50 16's on a 8" rim ......................... 255/50 16's on a 9" rim
  11. The PCD at 114.3 and offset at 45 are okay. But he doesn't state the wheel widths.

    HID Fitting Q

Some Hid kits use relays to take the power for the ballasts directly from the battery. In this case only one stock wiring harness that supplied the existing bulbs is used, it doesn't matter if it's the left or right. The other can just be taped up to prevent dirt getting in. In the kits that don't have relays then both stock wiring harnesses that supplied the existing bulbs are used to supply the power to the ballasts.

    Forum clock?

Our clocks went forward an hour 9 days ago CJ. British summer time.
  14. Adjusting vehicle odometer readings is not a criminal offence, however selling a vehicle with the intention to defraud someone is, so you're okay. As long as you don't change it before and after the MOT whilst you still own it then you should be okay to get it changed, obviously because the mileage is recorded on the MOT certificate. The some goes for taxing the car if you volunterily state the mileage. There used to be places advertised in the back of Autotrader that do this, Google too.
  15. Passed the last three years with them fitted, the MOT tester has never mentioned them.
  16. Bare in mind I've got a facelift car and I'm not sure if all the Supra's have the same wiring. I checked them all first with my multimeter. The following were located in the fuse box in the drivers footwell The ones for the central locking on my car were . The blue connector at the bottom right. red/white wire goes to 0 volts to lock the car red/green wire goes to 0 volts to unlock the car Current sensing on my car. Blue connector at very top left The green wire is normally at 12 volts and goes to 0 volts when the door is opened. Indicators on my car were. White connector at bottom left. Green/yellow wire and green/black wire
  17. The stuff at myprotein gets good reviews. Click
  18. Why go for HID's for the full beam, I only use mine for flashing and the HID's aren't really suitable?
  19. I haven't searched for it yet. What about the one at Catterick Garrison and the 15 year old girl?
  20. Yes, poor lad. Poor pig too.
