  1. I've got a problem with my van which I use for work. It's a Peugeot Boxer 2.8 HDI, 65,000 miles and it does get a fair bit of abuse. I'm amazed at how small the turbine wheels are compared to the ones that I've seen on here. I've been burning oil just recently which is getting worse, I did a visual inspection on the turbo and I saw an oil stain on the housing. There was also more axial play on the shaft than I expected. So I decided to take it apart and replace the journal bearing and seals etc, but I've encountered a couple of problems. 1. The ceramic exhaust turbine has a small crater as you can see in the pic. 2. The thrust washer and seal plate which you can see in the other pic have annular wear rings, I'm assuming that the small thrust washer wasn't like this when new. The refurbishment kit doesn't include the thrust washer but you do get the brass seal plate which is the one that has most of the wear. Should I assemble it with the worn thrust washer and an exhaust turbine with a small crater, I'm thinking that it wouldn't be a wise thing to do? Any advice please. . .
  2. Big single conversion and you show us pictures of the exterior!
  3. He was given the chance to get them reduced in size if not removed at all, but he declined the offer as he was earning money by performing with similarly deformed local men.
  4. Over six days to go. Good looking wheels though, I had them on my car when I bought it.
  5. 60 in a 30, it doesn't get much worse than that. Hopefully it's a ban, a massive fine would be better though. I always find it difficult to think of the words to describe scum like this.
  6. I'm right, you're all wrong according to the Toyota EPC.
  7. Officially..... Side Turn Signal Here are the clear ones. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOTA-SUPRA-97-98-CLEAR-SIDE-FRONT-BUMPER-LIGHTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33715QQihZ021QQitemZ310040761763QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
  8. Not sure about Toyota, if they're too expensive then here's an alternative place to get them. http://www.brakediscs.org.uk/company.html When the window appears with a list of Supra's then select the top one . Click on front Hydraulics (top right). If you click on "associated" on the 4 piston caliper it should bring up the following screen with the caliper service kits and pistons.
  9. You need a big fat arse to make that seat comfortable.
  10. It translates as: "on L injecting the reference bosch and well"
  11. I'm interested in buying a fuel injector for my van off ebay, but the seller lives in France. He has a Bosch ref number in the advert but I think it's incorrect. I asked him about this and got the following reply: Does he say that the number on the injector is or isn't..... 04 45 120 002 ? I've already used the Google translation but I want to make sure before I bid for it. Thanks
  12. Uk brakes 4 pot, disc 323 dia Jap brakes 2 pot, disc 296 dia http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/images/aristo_mkII_brake_upgrade1_sm.JPG http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/images/aristo_mkII_brake_upgrade0_sm.JPG
  13. I very rarely disconnect the battery. The wiring looms won't have any current going through them unless you've got the lights/indicators switched on.
  14. Some pics would be good.
  15. Parachute? I think it's best to check with the airline who you'll be flying with. I took my mother over to Belfast a couple of years ago when I picked up my van, she didn't have a passport - we flew with easyJet. I think you just need photographic ID.
  16. Why do you think you would need them, or do you like the yellow ones? The Blitz exhaust should fit with original rubbers.
  17. You've still got the two cat's fitted?
  18. 2-3 seconds is a long time if the traction control cuts in when you need to pull out quickly to avoid other traffic. RLTC is in a different league.
  19. You don't buy a TT Supra if you're in the very least concerned about fuel consumption.
