  1. Any thoughts on the UK spec remanufactured calipers for the front, Cardone are one manufacturer? The reason I'm asking is that I stripped down the front brakes and on close examination I've found a hairline crack on each caliper, they've been sitting for a few year's now but if I remember correctly the crack's went from the bleed nipple through to one of the cylinders. You only become aware of these hairline cracks when you strip them down, what about everyone else's calipers?
  2. I've replaced a fuel pipe that went from the tank to the filter, cheaper than I thought it would be.
  3. Just fit a Walbro GSS342 for a J-Spec, it does the job and that's all you need.
  4. Impressive, thanks for posting this Slicknick . I might have to get an android phone.
  5. According to the epc the dipstick is the same but the tube that it pushes down into is different.
  6. The obvious answer is what's wrong with the stock scoop which was designed for the car, you can buy the ducting and everything?

Nothing special at all. A complete mismatch of parts inside the car. The purple in the engine bay is tacky to say the least, purple roll cage. CF lip spoiler doesn't do anything for it at all, some people fit cf parts regardless just because it's cf.
  8. You're very welcome. Unbeknown to you last Sunday I had a good look through the files that I've accumulated over the years to see if there was anything for RHD, I couldn't find anything. Just the LHD stuff. http://www.turbosupras.com/pages/pages/technical/jza80/a80tsrm.htm
  9. How many of us remember or have a headlight removed to have a look though? Relays generally aren't expensive, you don't always have to get one from Toyota.
  10. Yes, the links are dead. Look further down into the wiring harness. Aerial!
  11. I'm presently doing the underside of my car with a schutz gun and compressor but I just remembered that I had an aerosol that I had forgotten about which I've just tried. You can get quite a good textured finish with the aerosol by just applying it very thick. I applied one coat to get it to bond, left that for 15 mins and given it a thick coat to get the finish, I was expecting it to sag but it didn't. It was the U-Pol Gravi Guard stonechip aerosol.
  12. You've got it all wrong, you don't need a boost controller.
  13. Probably. Definitely, I've been removing the underseal back to bare metal under the car and so have had a good look at the structure underneath, the standard jacking points are nowhere near as strong as other locations further inboard.
  14. I cannot see any reason to lacquer them, just polish them with t-cut and normal car polish to keep them clear and shiny.
