Having the supra in the usual manual mode dont work like having a supra manual in 3rd on a dyno.
MAtt on the link, has given the instructions on how to get TRUE 3rd gear lockup.which cant be done on a Soarer,well i havent actually checked it out on my own as i'm a lazy git , and some of the pinouts on the ecu aint the exact same as the Supra.
And Gerry DOES dyno our car, as he is the guy who maps our car, but he's a freind and he sorta started something that he really shouldnt have,and now is left with me hounding him .
But he dynos our car in drive with o/d off and pwr on, the main problem with the auto is that he has no control over how the box changes, and cant get a torque figure outta a auto car,as it shoots all over the place on the changes.
Other place's have the same problem with autos infact there are places down south that wont touch a autobox car, as they like to trip out there dynos , which ours did to Dasteks at 155mph.
Oh and you can hold a Soarer in 3rd,but your still having to go through the other gears to get there.
And doing the dyno in 2nd gear WILL give you a torque reading but i believe it's not the way a proper dyno should be done.
