  2. Hmm I wouldnt be using any type of sanding paper on lights, unless i knew what i was doing 2000 paper with soapy water might do the trick. But get yourself some of this .... http://www.farecla.com/index2.asp?id=355&stage=G3 Regular Grade Paste &set=3 G3 and a damp cloth, some polish to finish off and the lights will look like new after your done . 45 Psi

would be maddness to run 45psi on any tyre, you will be running on the centre of the tyre and will just run the centre of the tyre donw quicker, not to mention the car will be very dangerous. get the geo sorted as others have said. Andy
  4. They should stay constant even with a WB stuck up the rear of the exhaust ours where rock solid.... And that WB looks to close to the turbo, i believe most will want about 3 feet from the manifold,or they burn out quick. Andy
  5. Tony Top post mate simple to follow and good clear pics . Andy
  6. get yerself a starter, sound like that has gone, you can remove the starter and check it.
  7. Kenny I agree with brian here change the plugs out to copper and gap them down. And i dont see hwo your going to do anything with the emanage and the gear change, since it can do anything about that, as the gearchange is controlled by the car, (yours is and auto ?). Unless you try adding in some extra fuel higher up the rev range, which we had done, but it's really our box fault, which we try something new with soon. Andy
  8. NGK's and just change more often.
  9. John It should tell you under the fusebox lid it is listed on the Soarer fuesbox so it SHOULD be on your cars.

  19. Chris Hks HG's... http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bccatpartlist.php?make=Toyota&carcode=JZA80A&intake=FI&category=engine
  20. Hmm Whle you's are all running out to buy nice new batteries , maybe you's should all have a look at the earthing on the car, which can get into a state and will give you probs as well with the battery, starting, renewing th earths is a good idea. Andy
  21. Shame no one works at toyota cause they have a device that can be plugged intoan autobox and a passanger can use the device to run the autobox like a manual...now where could i find one of them little things . Andy
  22. The supra box tail is not the same as the soarer box, the tail has to be changed over so you can fit the box into a Soarer. So i dont think that's possible (well ANYTHING is possible) just would be a pita to do. And yes the changedown is the main problem when dynoing an auto, the operator dont have control of the car the way they do when dynoing a manual, bleeding thing is all over the place . Andy
  23. Having the supra in the usual manual mode dont work like having a supra manual in 3rd on a dyno. MAtt on the link, has given the instructions on how to get TRUE 3rd gear lockup.which cant be done on a Soarer, well i havent actually checked it out on my own as i'm a lazy git , and some of the pinouts on the ecu aint the exact same as the Supra. And Gerry DOES dyno our car, as he is the guy who maps our car, but he's a freind and he sorta started something that he really shouldnt have, and now is left with me hounding him . But he dynos our car in drive with o/d off and pwr on, the main problem with the auto is that he has no control over how the box changes, and cant get a torque figure outta a auto car,as it shoots all over the place on the changes. Other place's have the same problem with autos infact there are places down south that wont touch a autobox car, as they like to trip out there dynos , which ours did to Dasteks at 155mph. Oh and you can hold a Soarer in 3rd,but your still having to go through the other gears to get there. And doing the dyno in 2nd gear WILL give you a torque reading but i believe it's not the way a proper dyno should be done. Andy
